On Saturday, January 4, 2025, Crunchyroll announced that MAPPA's Zenshu anime will receive a same-day English dub, starting its premiere on Sunday, January 5, 2025. Additionally, the official staff has revealed the names of the show's English cast and staff.

Under the production of MAPPA studios, Zenshu serves as an original television anime. The series was announced by the studio on March 22, 2024, with a teaser PV and visual. Notably, the promotional video revealed the show's main cast and staff. The anime gives fans a peek into the world of an animator.

MAPPA's Zenshu anime is set to premiere on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at 11:45 pm JST on TV Tokyo and other channels in Japan. Prior to its release, Crunchyroll has mentioned that the series will get a same-day English dub. Notably, the English dubbed episode will be released shortly after its official broadcast in Japan.

Previously, Crunchyroll announced that it would stream MAPPA's Zenshu anime at 9:15 am PT (Pacific Time). While the company mentioned it will release the dubbed versions on the same day, they haven't revealed the exact time of release.

Nevertheless, information regarding the English cast members has arrived. Madeleine Morris stars as Natsuko, while Ryan Negron voices Luke. Luci Christian plays the role of Unio, while Alexis Tipton stars as Memerun.

Besides them, the semi-fantasy anime includes William Ofoegbu, Brandon Wetch, Adam Rowe, Conner Allison, Bryn Apprill, Francine Gonzales, Philip Annarella, and Molly Searcy as the Additional Voices.

Emily Fajardo directs the English dubbed version of the series, with Zach Bolton as the producer. James Cheek is in charge of the adaptation, while Sawyer Pfledderer is the engineer. William Dewell has also joined the staff as the mixer.

The series is originally directed by Yamasaki at MAPPA, with Ueno in charge of the scripts. Mitsue Yamasaki and Kimiko Ueno are also credited with the original story. Yoshiteru Tsujino is the character concept artist, while Kayoko Ishikawa is the chief animation director.

MAPPA's Zenshu anime follows the story of Natsuko Hirose, a talented animator, who quickly made her debut as a director. Her first anime received critical acclamation, earning her the title "genius director." However, everything changes when she embarks on a new project, a romance comedy. Since she hasn't experienced love, Natsuko is unable to create proper storyboards. The series showcases Natsuko's struggles as an animator.
