Jujutsu Kaisen and Chainsaw Man fans recently went to war on X because of the way their respective series handled the conclusions of their first parts, especially considering how the former seems to be setting up a second one. This has resulted in an online war between the two fandoms because of the way their writers handled said conclusions, with one community obviously preferring one over the other.
However, it is also worth pointing out that Jujutsu Kaisen is yet to confirm a second part or a sequel, so this is something that needs to be taken into account. Be that as it may, the general perception among Chainsaw Man fans is that author Tatsuki Fujimoto had a much stronger conclusion to the first part of his manga than what Gege Akutami is doing with his series, although that is up for interpretation, of course.

Jujutsu Kaisen and Chainsaw Man fans go to war over the way their series ended their first parts
Jujutsu Kaisen only has two chapters left before ending the story, and there are so many open questions at the moment that a lot of people have begun to assume that there is going to be a second part to address all of these issues. In that regard, there were several Chainsaw Man fans who claimed on X that their favorite series had a much stronger conclusion to its first part.
The main character, Denji, manages to take the life of Makima, the main antagonist, while the plot points involving the likes of Aki and the Gun Devil, Power, and many more were, for the most part, resolved. It was widely regarded as a very satisfying conclusion to the story, and author Tatsuki Fujimoto was praised for taking things in that direction.
On the other hand, author Gege Akutami is receiving criticism for adding too much new lore in the final chapters when the story seems poised to conclude. In that regard, it is easy to understand where the Chainsaw Man fans are coming from, although this doesn't mean that the fans of the other series didn't have their own arguments.
Reactions online
Jujutsu Kaisen fans, naturally, had no problems defending their favorite series, going as far as claiming that the Chainsaw Man community is jealous of them. They were also claiming that Akutami has been setting up a second part for a long time while Fujimoto's ending had no room for a sequel, which is something that has led to even more debates on X.
On the other hand, the general perception is that these two mangaka have had a very different approach when it comes to writing and how they have treated their series as a whole. In that regard, this debate has shown the differences between the two communities and what they like about their respective series.
"Fujimoto is 100% better writer than gege, he can write characters. I hate csm to my core, p1 atleast from day 1 i read it. But he is able to write unlike gege, that much i can admit," someone said.
"The day csm fans stop mentioning jjk to feed their superiority complex and insecurity will be the day the world finally stops hearing their desperate cries for validation," another person said.
"Reading the comments has made me seen how stupidly funny it's gonna be when Gege doesn't announce part 2 and all this "buildup" ends up being nothing," someone else said.
Regardless of what happens to Yuji Itadori and his friends at the end of Jujutsu Kaisen, there is no denying that Chainsaw Man fans are already keeping an eye on them.
