Jujutsu Kaisen fans have long assumed that Domain Expansion is the peak for a sorcerer and as far as they can go with challenging abilities but Cursed Technique Reversal might be the zenith of their knowledge. This is because Cursed Technique Reversal is an extremely rare ability that is barely shown in the story and only two major characters managed to execute it, Satoru Gojo and Kenjaku.
This is telling because Gojo has the Six Eyes so he can see Cursed Energy and handle it better and Kenjaku has centuries of knowledge and experience under his belt. That means that, for Cursed Technique Reversal to work in Jujutsu Kaisen, it requires a degree of experience and expertise that not even special-grade sorcerers have for the most part, which is saying a lot.

Explaining how Cursed Technique Reversal might be the peak of sorcery in Jujutsu Kaisen
Cursed Technique Reversal is a rarity in the series and is telling because only two characters managed to use it, are Satoru Gojo and Kenjaku. The case of the centuries-old sorcerer is quite interesting as he managed to use the positive energy from the Reverse Cursed Technique to manipulate gravity, thus leading to his victory over Yuki Tsukumo during the Culling Games arc.
In Gojo's case, it is a bit more complex since he has the Six Eyes, which means that he can see Cursed Energy and manipulate it with greater ease. His main techniques allow him to handle positive and negative energy to create greater damage, which is something that makes him stand out from the vast majority of sorcerers.
This goes to show that Cursed Technique Reversal might be a greater sample of a sorcerer's absolute peak than Domain Expansion due to simple rarity. It took Kenjaku centuries to learn this ability and Gojo had a greater edge with the Six Eyes, so is telling that most characters cannot execute this ability no matter how capable they are.
The nature of the series' battle system
There is no denying that Jujutsu Kaisen has a battle system that has become quite popular in recent years and that is because of the nature of Cursed Energy and how it fits each character. Most characters are given a sole ability and manage to get the most out of it while every fight stays immersed in very specific rules, thus becoming something quite fun to see.
The most interesting part is seeing how author Gege Akutami manages to play with the rules of the battle system while staying in canon, such as having Yuta Okkotsu take over Satoru Gojo's body or Sukuna gaining Ten Shadows because he took Megumi Fushiguro's. That is something that fits within the series' canon and also pushes the envelope to a degree.
Final thoughts
Cursed Technique Reversal didn't have a lot of prominence throughout Jujutsu Kaisen but is a key aspect to show a sorcerer's mastery of his or her craft. The fact that only two characters managed to execute it says a lot about how demanding this ability is.
