Boruto Two Blue Vortex has finally become interesting after the reveal of the existence of multiverses in the series. However, the impact of Eida and Daemon in the sequel series has been minimal since its start even though these two had a great impact in the Naruto Next Generation series. The reason behind this could be that the author is preparing them as possible opponents of the Uzumaki family.
All of this could be indicated by the chance encounter between Himawari and Daemon where the latter sensed the intensity of something strong inside the former. While this did foreshadow the awakening of Himawari as the future jinchuriki of the Nine-tails, it also set Daemon as her perfect opponent in the Two Blue Vortex manga series.

Why did the Boruto series set Daemon as Himawari's perfect opponent?
Daemon is one of the supporting antagonists of the Boruto franchise who was introduced in chapter 59. Daemon's body, just like Eida's, was modified using Scientific Ninja Tools, and his DNA was infused with that of the strongest Otsutsuki, Shibai Otsutsuki.
Due to the latter reason, he gained one of the shinjutsu techniques of Shibai, reflect. This allowed him to reflect any opponent's attack onto themselves, just like his sister's Omnipotence.
After getting released by Code, Daemon didn't have any motives other than to follow his sister wherever she went. Eventually, Eida made the demand to shift to the Hidden Leaf Village, alongside Daemon, as she had romantic feelings for Kawaki.
This was eventually made possible and both of them became official residents of the Hidden Leaf Village. Kawaki and some other students were assigned a mission to monitor Eida's future moves. Moreover, Eida also started roaming the streets of the village.
In one incident, Daemon suddenly rushed in one direction after he sensed something. He crossed paths with Himawari who was out shopping and asked about her true identity. Boruto jumped in and separated Daemon from his sister. Intrigued by Himawari, Daemon broke free of the protagonist's arms and tried to punch her.
The protagonist got hold of him again but Daemon asked Himawari why she didn't stop him, even though he was feeling the intensity of something from her. The protagonist thought Daemon had feelings for Himawari because of which he was acting in such a way.
However, after a few chapters in the Boruto Two Blue Vortex manga series, Himawari awakened as the jinchuriki of the Nine-tais, proving that Daemon could have sensed her immature jinchuriki chakra. After this incident, Daemon grew interested in Himawari but hasn't made any significant appearances in the Two Blue Vortex series since Himawari awakened her jinchuriki chakra.
This could be because Daemon would appear in the future as a proper opponent for Himawari because right now, due to her sister, he cannot run amok and attack the citizens of the Hidden Leaf Village. As he already has an interest in her due to the mysterious presence he felt from her that day, he would definitely appear in the future to face Himawari who might even perfect her jinchuriki powers till then.
