Dandadan chapter 181 began with a commotion brewing outside of Okarun, Momo, and co’s school as Okarun, Vamola, and Momo were leaving. Okarun was lamenting his training with Seiko since he didn't have the talent Jiji had when the trio came up on the commotion.

After Okarun recognized him as being from Zuma’s high school, some girls pressured him to go speak with them. They quickly recognized Okarun and shouted to someone that they found him.

Someone in glasses then approached, eventually revealed as Unji Zuma whose hair had grown out while he was in the hospital. Zuma also added that since escaping the Cursed Trunk, his eyes had gone bad. He then said there was something more important, reintroducing Momo and co to the man from the Cursed Trunk. Zuma revealed his name was Daiki Hanako, and that he’s aging at a very unnatural rate.

Zuma explained that he and Bega, whom he called his dad here, went to Daiki’s parents’ house to try to reunite them. However, they understandably didn’t recognize Daiki as their son, since he only disappeared four years prior in reality.

Zuma then said he wanted to do what he could as Jiji and Aira arrived, misunderstanding the situation. The issue ended with them briefly trying to attack Zuma before Momo calmed everyone down.

What to expect from Dandadan chapter 182 (speculative)?

Dandadan chapter 182 will likely open up with a continued focus on Daiki and Zuma as they head to Momo’s house along with the rest of her group. Seiko should be home at this point, still visibly roughed up from her fight with the jiangshi and the Iron Bull. However, focus will likely stick with Daiki as Seiko tries to brainstorm a way to possibly return him back to normal.

More likely than not, Seiko will think of a way to do so, which just so happens to be adjacent to acquiring the uchide no kozuchi, which is seemingly what Momo needs in order to return to normal. This should prompt their group to collectively focus on returning both Momo and Daiki back to normal. The issue should end with a brief look at what Count Saint-Germain is plotting, while Okarun and co’s focus is otherwise occupied.
