With Ken “Okarun” Takakura now being targeted by Hase, Dandadan chapter 181 should focus on this new enemy and his newfound yokai powers as he learns what they are. Likewise, it’s expected that the upcoming installment should go right into the pair’s fight after a brief expository focus on Hase and his new abilities.

However, no verifiable spoilers are available for Dandadan chapter 181 as of this article’s writing, which is to be expected given the series’ digital publication nature. Moreover, such a distribution approach inherently limits the likelihood of spoilers to the point where their absence is all but a foregone conclusion.

Thankfully, there are a few major areas in which Dandadan chapter 181 can be counted on to focus, even without the help of verifiable spoilers to confirm. Dandadan chapter 181 will likely begin with a focus on Hase and his new yokai powers, which seemingly came with a yokai spirit to accompany him. While it’s unconfirmed which yokai is now with him, many fans are presuming it to be the yamaube, also known as the yamamba or the yamanba in certain translations. In any case, fans should get a clear indication of what yokai this is in chapter 181’s opening pages.

Hase will likely be shocked at this development, refusing to accept it at first. However, the yokai is likely to convince him to accept his new abilities via reminding him that he can use them to take revenge on Okarun for embarrassing him. Hase is likely to reject this at first before hearing or seeing yet another group of girls discussing Okarun, emboldening him to commit to his new powers and break them in on Okarun.

From here, Dandadan chapter 181 could take one of two potential routes. The first and most likely is for a jump ahead in time to after school, at which point Hase will confront Okarun. This will likely mimic Aira Shiratori’s confrontation with Momo Ayase early on in the series, complete even with Hase saying no one but Okarun can come. Focus will likely then shift to Okarun and Hase as they speak, with the latter eventually showing his yokai powers and attacking. The issue will likely end with Okarun freaking out about not having yokai powers to defend himself with while narrowly dodging Hase’s attacks. The other route the issue could take would instead focus on Count Saint-Germain as he attends the singles night with Adachi and the rest.

Here, he’s likely to be shown as keeping a close eye on Adachi while watching the event from afar. A flashback should reveal that Adachi was texted by the Orchestrator to attend the singles night, revealing the Orchestrator as Saint-Germain as fans suspect. Returning to the present, Saint-Germain (as Sanjome) will likely be pressured by Murakami and others to get involved.

Saint-Germain will likely reject this at first before spotting a woman who seems particularly depressed and anxious. Recognizing her as easy prey to make another foot soldier out of, he’ll likely approach her in a deceptively acquiescing manner. The issue should end with Saint-Germain approaching the woman and starting a conversation with her, possibly revealing her name (which may be significant).
