Dandadan episode 6 began with Turbo Granny describing what Okarun’s kintama looked like to him and Momo. The trio then went looking for them, where Turbo Granny further informed them that a spirit may have picked them up due to the high spiritual power they exude. This prompted them to return to Momo’s house, where Seiko promised to see if she could help them. The next day at school, Okarun was approached by some boys who heard a rumor about Momo.
Hearing that the rumor was of her promiscuity, Okarun became angry at the boys and unintentionally transformed into his Turbo Granny form. After realizing this, he calmed down but was further stressed by both the realization that Momo is cute and Turbo Granny being in his backpack. Meanwhile, Aira Shiratori was introduced and revealed as the one who found Okarun’s kintama and also suspected Momo to be a demon.
Aira likewise lured Momo to a secluded area after school, where she and her friends jumped her in an attempt to exorcize her. However, a larger threat soon emerged in the form of the spirit Silky, who called herself Aira’s mother. Silky ate everyone but Turbo Granny, who refused to help. However, Momo was able to free herself and the others, setting up a counterattack from her and Okarun as the episode ended.

Dandadan episode 7 should begin with a continued focus on the fight against Silky. This should also lead to more expansion on both her backstory and Aira’s since Silky is claiming to be her mother. However, given the presentation of this reveal in episode 6, it seems like there’s more to Aira’s origins than meets the eye. Most likely, the episode will offer a continued focus on her backstory even after Silky is defeated, fully flushing her out by its end.
