Dandadan has introduced many different characters that are mostly inspired by actual Japanese folklore, as well as urban legends regarding aliens and other entities. While recent chapters are focusing more on Seiko and her run-ins with other yokai, Saint Germain's involvement in the entire ordeal has continued to linger in the background.
Saint Germain first made his debut in chapter 120 of the series. He has continued to gain more intrigue from fans due to his familiarity with yokai, as well as his strained relationship with Turbo Granny. Although it is speculated that he is of human or alien origins, it is still possible that Yukinobu Tatsu might have created Saint Germain by taking inspiration from a bizarrely similar yokai popularly known as "Nurarihyon."

Dandadan's Count Saint-Germain's actual origins might be built upon lies
Yukinobu Tatsu's Dandadan series has introduced many different antagonists, each with their own set of ideals but without any concrete goal. While villains like Reiko Kashima continue to intrigue fans, Saint Germain still remains one of the most mysterious and fascinating characters to have ever been introduced.
Saint Germain's introduction entailed many elements, including his ability to command the powers of numerous yokai while simultaneously possessing a naturally commanding presence. His affiliation with the Kur has led to confusion regarding his actual origins. However, the numerous hints throughout his appearances suggest a more yokai-inspired origin.
It is already clear that Yukinobu Tatsu heavily derives his characters from preexisting Japanese folklore. This makes it possible that Saint Germain is just a version of the "Nurarihyon." The Nurarihyon is a rather popular yokai, often depicted but left unexplored in recent anime. While the actual depiction of this yokai does not match Saint German, interpretations of its power paint a much different picture.
The Nurarihyon's actual legend is still a highly debated topic. However, a few iterations of its legend state that this yokai sneaks into other houses and assumes the position of the lord. The inhabitants of the house unquestionably serve the Nurarihyon as the lord of the house. They only realize the situation after the Nurarihyon has left.
Some other versions of the legend also refer to the Nurarihyon as an authoritative figure, often dubbed the supreme commander by other yokai. Given that Saint Germain has seamlessly infiltrated Okarun and Momo's high school and functions via deception, as evidenced by the Pygmy Princess Arc and Saint Germain having access to numerous yokai powers, albeit stolen, might be a reference to one of Nurarihyon's legends.
Turbo Granny's dialogue calling Saint Germain "Hyper Geezer" might simply be a reference to the Nurarihyon's actual appearance, which is that of a withered old man.
Final Thoughts
Dandadan chapter 179 is scheduled for release on December 30, 2024. The story is not in its final arc just yet. Given Saint Germain's overall characterization, Yukinobu Tatsu may decide to keep his character mysterious for a few more arcs. Especially, given that he is being propped up as an endgame antagonist.
