The episode begins with Freya's monologue, where the Goddess reveals how she enacted the role of Syr to pass the time. She indulged in the role-play and derived pleasure. During the time she spent as Syr, she had Horn replace her as the Goddess.
Being Syr was fun for Freya, as she could learn her limitations. However, everything changed once she met Bell, whose kind soul touched her heart. Gradually, she developed an intense desire for the boy, which made her abandon her pride, honor, and the void in her.
That's why she "killed" her Syr persona. Meanwhile, Bell Cranel returns after rejecting Syr. He appears dejected, refusing to make eye contact with anyone. Later, he reveals everything to Ryu, including that he rejected Syr. When Ryu enquires why, Bell tells her that he already has someone in his heart.
After apologizing to Bell for her remarks, she informs him that Syr has gone missing. So, the duo begins their search for the girl. Meanwhile, Goddess Freya confronts Hestia and asks her to give her Bell Cranel. When Hestia refuses, she resorts to drastic measures.
Elsewhere in Orario, the top Freya Familia members attack the Hestia Familia. Ottarl defeats Ryu and Bell and brings the latter to Freya. Seeing Bell's limp body and the weapons of her Familia's members infuriates Hestia. Freya then grabs Hestia by her ponytail, ordering her to rescind her vow with Bell.
At that moment, Hermes appears at the scene and reminds Freya that an adventurer in the lower realm can only be converted if they are active for a year with a familia. Since Bell has only been with Hestia for six months, he can't undergo the conversion.
Although Freya acknowledges the rule, she tells Hermes that she will take a few proactive measures before the conversion. In her sandbox, Bell Cranel is no longer a member of the Hestia Familia but belongs to her own Familia.
