What to expect in Days with My Stepsister episode 1?

Based on Ghost Mikawa's Japanese mixed-media project, Days with My Stepsister anime centers around two high school students, Yuuta Asamura and his classmate, Saki Ayase, who become unlikely step-siblings, after Yuuta's father remarries.

Interestingly, Saki happens to be the "number one beauty" of her school. Yet, after becoming siblings due to their parent's marriage, Yuuta and Saki promise each other that they won't be close and will keep a distance.

However, an unlikely romance blossoms when Saki and Yuuta open up to each other. Notably, throughout her life, Saki has worked alone for the sake of her family, which is why she doesn't know how to rely on others.

As such, Yuta finds it difficult to treat her properly. Yet, they gradually understand the comfort of living together. In other words, the anime follows Yuuta and Saki's relationship as they progress from being strangers to friends.

Given the interesting plotline, Days with My Stepsister episode 1 could introduce the main duo, Saki and Yuuta. The former will realize that her classmate has become her step-sibling due to her mother's marriage to Yuuta's father.
