While the manga series introduced Mirio Togata, Tamaki Amajiki, and Nejire Hado from Class 3 as the Big Three of U.A. High School, the developments seen in My Hero Academia chapter 423 spoilers proved that Deku, Bakugo, and Todoroki were the main trio, i.e., the Origin trio of the series.

How did My Hero Academia prove that Deku, Bakugo, and Todoroki were the Origin trio?

In any manga series, the main trio plays a crucial role in defeating the big bad villain. While protagonist Izuku Midoriya was the person who was fighting Shigaraki Tomura and All For One in the end, both the series deuteragonist and tritagonist helped him out in the final moments.

My Hero Academia chapter 423 spoilers saw Kurogiri trying to oppose All For One to rescue Shigaraki Tomura. Right after Kurogiri started disappearing, Deku needed to land a punch on All For One. Unfortunately, the protagonist was a bit too far away to attack the villain.

Just then, Katsuki Bakugo appeared out of nowhere and propelled Deku with his explosions toward All For One. While the deuteragonist was meant to be in the hospital, the tritagonist, Shoto Todoroki, helped him reach the battlefield by creating an ice ramp.

With that, Deku reached All For One and defeated the villain alongside Shigaraki Tomura and the One For All vestiges inside the vestige world. With that, Shigaraki Tomura's body crumbled in the real world, suggesting that both All For One and Tenko Shimura had perished.

With such a development, it can be confirmed that Deku, Bakugo, and Todoroki are the Origin trio in the series. This is because all three characters teamed up against All For One in the end, and each of their contributions was proportional to their importance in the series.

Deku, being the protagonist, was front and center while defeating the villain. Bakugo, being the deuteragonist, supported the protagonist in the final moments and received some spotlight. Meanwhile, Shoto Todoroki, who was the series' tritagonist, took on the role of a helper in the final moments as he supported both Deku and Bakugo to defeat the antagonist from the shadows.

With that, there is no doubt that Deku, Bakugo, and Todoroki were the Origin trio of the series. Fans must also note that, besides Shigaraki Tomura (Tenko Shimura), the characters from the main trio were the only ones who received their own "Origin" chapters in the manga. Thus, given the developments seen in My Hero Academia chapter 423 spoilers, it makes sense that Deku, Bakugo, and Todoroki are the series's Origin trio.
