Picking up the events from the previous installment, Demon Lord 2099 episode 10 begins with Veltol and his party requesting Hizuki for a special maid treatment. Since she's on duty, she is obligated to follow their request. Yet, once the other customers leave, they engage in a serious conversation.

It is revealed that Hizuki is the head of the Reynard family. She's slightly taken aback after discovering that Veltol knows about the lost Orb. When Veltol asks her about the Regalia, she explains the history.

According to the episode, 500 years ago, when Hero Gram defeated the Demon Lord Veltol, Goddess Meldia took a liking to the hero and bestowed upon him the Regalia, territory, many treasures, and her blessings. Afterward, the hero was exiled by an incompetent king.

Prior to absconding, Gram ceded the Regalia to Lu Xel the 2nd, who happens to be the founder of the Three Great Houses. He divided the Regalia to his three sons. Although their descendants never got along, they eventually formed a parliamentary rule to construct the current Akihabara's order.

Following that, Veltol urges Hizuki to put them in contact with Korneah Seburd, the head of the Seburd family. Hizuki feels it won't be a problem as long as she comes along. Prior to visiting Korneah's place, the party indulges in a sumptuous meal in Akibahara. Veltol and Machina try out the exotic Dragon Meat after seeing Hizuki enjoying her meal.

Eventually, they meet Korneah, who happens to be a Goblin. He reveals how he attained his position from the bottom. After learning about Veltol's desires with the Regalia, Korneah informs him that simply handing over the Regalia won't be enough.

Since the Regalia is the materialized form of Meldia's soul, one needs to possess each of them to release the seal on the treasury. In other words, one needs to go through the process of becoming the city's true king. Korneah also reveals how he wants to crush the existing order. He feels Veltol can help him out.

Afterward, he takes the Demon Lord to the rooftop and informs him that the missing Orb must be close by. He also mentions how Hizuki is the key to the orb.

Meanwhile, Machina and Takahashi exchange a heartwarming conversation about the former's past. Later, as Veltol and Hizuki joins them, they decide to crash at Hizuki's place to spend the night. The episode ends with a scene where Hizuki is in a bathtub with Veltol.
