Demon Lord 2099 episode 6 kicks off with Marcus telling Machina that they are directly below the aether reactor in Shinjuku. He informs her about the Immortal Furnace and its dark truth. Machina learns that Shinjuku's sustenance is dependent on the Immortals' lives, who are sacrificed in the furnace as fuels.

Although Immortals can't die physically, the furnace burns their soul until nothing is left. Marcus wickedly mentions that he sacrificed Ornared, Palmlock, and even Zenol as fuel. Now, he intends to do the same with Machina.

While Machina is used as the aether reactor's sustenance, Marcus plans to find an alternative way to power the city. Meanwhile, the narrative switches to outside, where Marcus's assistant, Kinohara blocks Veltrol and Gram's way.

When Gram learns from Veltol that Kinohara's sword skills are similar to Zenol, he volunteers to fight him. As Gram the Hero engages in a duel against Kinohara, Veltrol moves forward. Kinohara realizes she must stop Gram first and then head down to defeat the Demon Lord.

She demonstrates her powers strengthened by modern technology. Kinohara thinks Gram, whose sword, Familia, and techniques are worn out, can't defeat her. However, Gram proves her wrong, as he utilizes his vast experience to completely turn her plans upside down. The Hero ends the battle with a move he once used to defeat Veltrol in the past.

Defeated, Kinohara asks Gram why he's not finishing her off. He says he doesn't need to since he's already defeated. Just then, some mecha robots indiscriminately attack them. Gram decides to strike down those robots and save Kinohara.

Meanwhile, Marcus drops Machina into the Immortal Furnance. While falling down, Machina recalls the moments she spent with Veltrol. As she loses hope and accepts her cruel fate, Veltrol comes to her rescue. The episode ends with the Demon Lord Veltrol telling Machina that he will save her.
