Before the release of Demon Slayer Hashira Training Arc Episode 8, the animation studio Ufotable released the preview image and synopsis for the anime's final episode through its official website. The upcoming episode titled 'The Hashira Unite,' will be released on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at 11:15 PM JST.

The episode's duration has been extended to 60 minutes, i.e., fans can expect a runtime of around 45 minutes. The anime will first air on Fuji TV and other networks in Japan, followed by Crunchyroll and Netflix internationally.

The anime's previous episode saw Himejima reveal his past to Tanjiro and acknowledge him. Following that, Tanjiro went to Giyu Tomioka's residence to get trained. Elsewhere, Muzan Kibutsuji located the Ubuyashiki Mansion and confronted the head of the Demon Slayer Corps.

Kagaya Ubuyashiki may ambush Muzan Kibutsuji in Demon Slayer Hashira Training Arc Episode 8

The anime's previous episode saw Muzan Kibutsuji visit Kagaya Ubuyashiki in his mansion. Evidently, Muzan was able to enter the mansion's premises very easily. While one can theorize that Muzan must have killed any guards, the anime has never shown any demon slayers guarding the Ubuyashiki mansion. This must mean that Kagaya Ubuyashiki was certain about his family's safety.

Nevertheless, when Muzan entered the mansion's premises, neither Kagaya nor Amane showed any shocking reaction to the Demon King's arrival. This lack of reaction suggests that Kagaya Ubuyashiki was expecting Muzan's arrival. Hence, he must have something planned to take him out. This plan could be revealed in the upcoming episode.

Muzan may try to extract Nezuko's location from Kagaya in Demon Slayer Hashira Training Arc Episode 8

As revealed by the anime, Muzan Kibutsuji has been using the new Upper Moon Four Demon Nakime to locate Kagaya Ubuyashiki and Nezuko Kamado. Evidently, Nakime successfully located Kagaya, which is why Muzan arrived at his mansion.

While Muzan could have waited for Nakime to locate Nezuko as well, he must have gotten restless from the long wait and left the Infinity Castle the moment he learned about Kagaya's location. Hence, the upcoming anime episode could see Muzan Kibutsuji asking Kagaya Ubuyashiki about Nezuko Kamado's location.

The Hashira will reach Ubuyashiki Mansion in Demon Slayer Hashira Training Arc Episode 8

As suggested by the episode title 'The Hashira Unite' for Demon Slayer Hashira Training Arc Episode 8, the upcoming anime episode will likely see all Hashira reach the Ubuyashiki Mansion to protect their leader Kagaya. Thus, fans can expect the Hashira to confront the Demon King before their final battle.

Fans should also remember that Tanjiro Kamado was with Giyu Tomioka before Muzan confronted Ubuyashiki. Hence, there is a good chance that he will join Giyu and the other Hashira at the Ubuyashiki Mansion. This has also been suggested by the preview released by the anime.
