Recap of the previous episode

As mentioned earlier, while the arc's focus has been on Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke reuniting after the Swordsmith Village storyline and becoming stronger to face Muzan and his demons, this arc has given characters moments to shine through their interactions. A significant portion of the episode focused on Gyomei Himejima's past and his motivation to become a Hashira, allowing audiences to see his character being fleshed out.

Much like what happened with Sanemi Shinazugawa and Obanai Iguro, there were some extra scenes in this episode. Another major element was Zenitsu receiving a letter about what happened to his former friend Raigaku, and there was also a scene featuring Muzan and his connection to the leader of the corps, Kagaya Ubuyashiki.

What to expect in Demon Slayer season 4 episode 8?

The Hashira Training arc, as most readers of the manga know, doesn't have any significant battles, so fans can mostly expect more character moments, such as training or fleshing out backstories. As the title suggests, this is a training arc focused on making the characters stronger.

However, it's probable that Demon Slayer season 4 episode 8 is very likely to go out with a bang, marking the ending of this arc. It is also bound to showcase some cliffhangers to leave viewers eager for the upcoming Infinity Castle storyline.
