Naruto's Moegi Kazamatsuri was a kunoichi of the Village Hidden in the Leaves. Besides being a childhood friend to Konohamaru Sarutobi, she was part of Team Ebisu alongside Udon and Konohamaru. Later, she grew up to lead the next generation, heading Team 10 and the new Ino-Shika-Cho trio—Inojin Yamanaka, Shidai Nara, and Chocho Akimichi.

In the original series, as mentioned, relationships and unspoken feelings added depth to the story but all were never fully explored. During Naruto, both Moegi and Konohamaru were children and there was no romance as such between them. Their bond was strong due to their childhood connection and being on the same team. As children, Moegi and Konohamaru resembled Sakura and Naruto.
