Hisoka Morow returns in Hunter x Hunter chapter 392, to the shock of readers. His battle with Chrollo had seemed like he was, finally, killed once and for all. However, Hisoka returns when the Mafia is due for a manhunt of Zakuro and Lynch as they search him out in Tier 3.

In their effort to reconfirm his identity, they finally see Hisoka in disguise with his hair below and no makeup. After a brief but fatal fight, he kills Lynch with ease.

Zakuro is shocked and even terrified when he confirms that this is indeed the infamous magician.

Despite being defeated by Chrollo during their combat, Hisoka had already revealed his ability to cheat death through Bungee Gum. This sudden comeback is a harsh reminder of how tenacious and intelligent Hisoka really is.

Not only does Hisoka's presence announce a personal agenda, but it also drives some danger into the power struggle between the Mafia families and Phantom Troupe.
