Considering that Kishibe in Chainsaw Man is one of the strongest members of Public Safety, fans often ask if he has a Devil contract. Kishibe was capable of defeating the likes of Denji and Power with ease and was still alive after years of fighting multiple Devils in this business, thus highlighting his abilities and battle IQ.

Although Chainsaw Man fans don't see him using his Devil abilities in a very visual manner, Kishibe does have Devil contracts, which are prime examples of how he fights and goes about things, plus his inner struggles.

As of this writing, Kishibe has contracts with the Claw Devil, the Knife Devil, and the Needle Devil. However, it is worth pointing out that the story never shows how much he paid for said contracts. This makes sense because author Tatsuki Fujimoto has never shown much of the character's backstory and motivations.

Furthermore, it is clear that Kishibe has above-average endurance and strength, as shown by the fact he managed to defeat Denji and Power without much problem. He also showed a lot of battle IQ since he avoided Makima for a long time, thus not being manipulated by her. Also, he fights almost every single time, relying solely on his abilities.

His Knife Devil contract is probably why he is so good at using that tool in combat, and he is also one of the finest fighters in the Chainsaw Man universe. Compared to most characters in the series, he is probably the best fighter, which is why he has a reputation as the strongest Devil Hunter and was tasked with training Denji and Power.

As mentioned earlier, Kishibe probably uses the Knife Devil when using that tool in combat, although Tatsuki Fujimoto has never confirmed that. Kishibe has never used his Devil contracts upfront to the reader. This is shown when he confronts his former partner, Quanxi, and one of the members of the former's harem states that he probably doesn't have "anything else to give."

It has been repeatedly shown that the Public Safety business broke Kishibe, so he probably can't give more to the Devils he contracted with. This was already shown with the character of Aki in the series as he gave more and more in Devil contracts, slowly losing himself in the process to the point of falling victim to Makima's machination.

However, it is also worth pointing out that Kishibe's past has never received much screen time. Therefore, fans can only speculate about why he doesn't use his Devil contracts, especially considering the different enemies he has faced, including Quanxi and Makima.
