Dandadan fans often ask the question "Does Momo love Okarun?" because that is a major plot point in the story. The core of this series is these two characters dealing with supernatural and alien threats. This slowly gets them closer and there is an obvious romantic component, especially after they go through certain events in the manga.

While the story is fairly new in anime format, most Dandadan readers of the manga know that Momo and Okarun's relationship grows significantly. It has been shown several times throughout the manga that Momo Ayase has feelings for Okarun, also known as Ken Takakura. While initially started as little hints of her interest in the protagonist, there have been more notorious examples in recent arcs. An example of this would be the Ombusman arc when she was mad at him after trying to talk about the note as she is shown in her room daydreaming about him confessing to her.

Other examples include when Reiko Kashima comes to her overnight and pretends to be Okarun, with her asleep at her desk at school saying that he told her that he loved her. There is also the fact that, inside Danmanra, she falls asleep in the hallway while thinking about Okarun and telling him to tell her he loves her. This shows that she has a clear romantic interest in the coprotagonist.

The relationship between Okarun and Momo is the main reason that a lot of people watching or reading Dandadan wonder if Momo loves Okarun. They met at school at the beginning of the story and she believes in ghosts but not aliens and he has the opposite opinion, which leads to them trying to prove the other wrong.

This leads to them discovering that there are real ghosts and aliens, with both gaining supernatural abilities in the process. As they go through different adventures to recover Okarun's private body parts that were stolen and make new allies, they also develop stronger feelings for each other, which is the core of the series and probably is going to be the endgame of the manga.

Does Okarun love Momo? Explained

Okarun does love Momo Ayase and confesses his feelings in chapter 159 of the manga at the tail end of the Danmanra arc. As it seemed that Momo was going to be stuck in that place, Okarun took the moment to declare his feelings and how he didn't want to let her go, with the aftermath still felt currently in the manga.

Momo mentions later that Okarun is going to have to confess to her properly with no supernatural threats interrupting their moment. However, the manga has yet to conclude this plot point between the two of them.
