My Hero Academia finale is officially set to be released on Monday, August 5, 2024. However, days before its official release, the spoilers from chapter 430 were leaked online. With that, fans learned about all that is set to happen with Deku at the end of the series.
As fans may remember, one of the most unexplored plot points in the manga series is the identity of Deku's father, Hisashi Midoriya. While fans repeatedly kept asking the creator to dedicate a chapter to the same, Horikoshi assured fans that he would reveal Hisashi's identity in the future.
Now, with the manga series effectively having concluded, does My Hero Academia finale reveal Izuku Midoriya's father?

My Hero Academia finale ends with no revelation about Hisashi Midoriya
Back at the San Diego Comic-Con 2018, manga creator Kohei Horikoshi stated that he would reveal Deku's father, Hisashi Midoriya, in the future. Six years later, the manga creator dropped no information on Izuku's father and ended the series with an eight-year time skip.
As fans might remember, My Hero Academia chapter 1 revealed Deku's past. Through this, the manga revealed that while Deku was born Quirkless, his mother, Inko Midoriya, had the power to pull small objects toward herself. As for her husband, Hisashi, he could breathe fire.
But something that caught fans' eyes during this interaction was that Deku's doctor, Daruma Ujiko, was none other than Kyudai Garaki, the doctor affiliated with the League of Villains. Hence, fans theorized that the doctor had extracted Deku's Quirk, leaving him Quirkless.
With that, they further theorized that after Deku loses his One For All Quirk embers, his father Hisashi could likely appear in the manga and help him recover his innate quirk, which could have been fire breathing. Nevertheless, the manga never explored such possibilities, effectively confirming that Deku was born Quirkless.
As for the My Hero Academia finale, it saw the manga experience an eight-year time skip during which Deku lost the embers of his One For All Quirk. Hence, after graduation, Deku became a teacher at U.A. High School, hoping to help others despite being Quirkless.
While he tried to feel happy with his life, in reality, Deku was sad that he could not become a hero again. Knowing this, All Might went to his friend in the United States and got him to work with Mei Hatsume to commission a special support item for Deku. While the support item was costly, it was Deku's friends who funded the same, especially Katsuki Bakugo. Hence, Deku donned the support item and became a hero again alongside his Class A friends.
The manga series could have reserved one or more manga panels for Hisashi Midoriya's reveal. However, no such illustrations could be found in the leaked manga pages. With that, the only hope for My Hero Academia fans to see Hisashi Midoriya is if the manga creator decides to release a special chapter or an illustration for the same.
