Many Black Clover fans often wonder, "Does Yami Sukehiro have a love interest?" because of the way he connects with the Magic Knight Captain of the Blue Rose Squad, Charlotte Roselei. The noblewoman has always been depicted as someone with a massive crush on Yami, although it is yet to be determined if he feels the same way towards her.

Yami and Charlotte are one of the most popular ships in Black Clover, and it makes a lot of sense when considering that there is a lot of canon material to work with. Furthermore, Charlotte's love for him is not out of mere physical attraction but also because he helped her get rid of a curse he had since she was a young girl.

Charlotte Roselei has been in love with Yami Sukehiro and is the latter's main romantic interest throughout the series. She is her fellow Captain among the Magic Knights, the leader of the Blue Rose Knights, and has been constantly shipped together in the fandom from the moment they started talking in the manga.

That is because it has been confirmed time and time again that Charlotte has a massive crush on Yami, and that has often been played out as a joke in the story. However, it has been shown that she does care for the leader of the Black Bulls, and both have been quite supportive of each other through thick and thin.

The relationship between Charlotte and Yami is quite interesting because it was initially depicted as conflictive and difficult. Charlotte seemed to dislike Yami because of him being a foreigner and also his roguish demeanor, with the latter often answering back with his usual comments.

However, it was eventually revealed that Charlotte actually had a massive crush on the leader of the Black Bulls but just didn't know how to express it because she got nervous. There is also the fact that her squad, the Blue Rose, only accepts women, and she feels that she is going to disappoint her underlings for having feelings for a man.

As the story progresses, they slowly begin to get along a bit better, and Charlotte tries to tell him what she feels. In fact, she did tell Yami that she loved him in chapter 330 of the manga when she thought he was dead, although he didn't hear it. That is why a lot of people ask the question "Does Yami Sukehiro have a love interest?", given these characters' relationship.

Why Yami and Charlotte likely will get together following his revelation of her feelings

Finral eventually tells Yami that Charlotte declared her feelings to him when he was dying in chapter 330 during the Dark Triad arc of the Black Clover manga. It took a while for Yami to realize that the Blue Rose Captain had feelings for him, although the story has never addressed his reaction and what he is going to do about it.

However, they will likely get together because author Yuki Tabata has been setting up their relationship for quite some time. Furthermore, this has been widely regarded as the best ship in the entire Black Clover series, so it would make a lot of sense that the mangaka would give them this conclusion, especially considering their history together.
