Dragon Ball Daima episode 12 starts where the previous one left off as Vegeta fights Tamagami Number Two, and the former manages to escape from the Kraken that almost ate him alive. As the Tamagami and the Saiyan Prince battle it out, Neva decides to power up his creation, leading to him getting the upper hand over Vegeta.

Meanwhile, Majin Duu manages to use his bizarre fighting style to beat Tamagami Number One as Gomah and Degesu discover that Dr. Arinsu is trying to get the Dragon Balls. Eventually, the Tamagami then asks Duu to solve a math question to get the orb, with Majin Kuu helping out his brother in secret with the answer.

The last part of Dragon Ball Daima episode 12 has Vegeta using Super Saiyan 3 for the first time in the canon version of the franchise and easily defeating Tamagami Number Two. However, it also had some nice character moments where the honor of the Tamagamis is shown as well as the connection between Kuu and Duu, which is always great to see.
