Dragon Ball Daima episode 2 will air on Friday, October 18, 2024, at 11:40 pm JST. The first episode mostly focused on a recap of the events of the original series of this legendary franchise but also introduced the main villain, the new king of the leader of the Demon Realm after Dabura's death, Gomah, and two siblings of the Supreme Kai, Degesu and Arinsu, who are both serving them.

Moreover, this episode served to add a lot of new lore to the series, such as the nature of the Demon Realm the pointy ears as a sign of being a demon, the Tamagami, and the consequences of Dabura's fall in the Buu Saga. This also explains how Goku and his friends turned into kids, as seen in the trailers, and Dragon Ball Daima episode 2 is bound to address the characters' reactions to this event.

Recap of the previous episode

The most recent episode started with a brief recap of the series and then moved to the Demon Realm where audiences were introduced to the main antagonists of this new anime, Degesu, the brother of the Supreme Kai, and Gomah, the new king after Dabura's death. The bulk of this early section focused on Degesu and Gomah reacting to the events of the Buu Saga, with some of the highlights being adapted with modern animation.

As Gomah discovered the nature of the Earth Dragon Balls because of these recordings, he decided to use them as he couldn't use the ones in the Demon Realm since they were guarded by warriors known as Tamagami. Arinsu then appeared, warning him about the threat that Goku and his friends could pose to his kingdom given that they were capable of defeating Majin Buu.

The latter part of the episode showed more elements of the Demon Realm, such as Gomah's desire to get the Third Evil Eye, which has been lost since the reign of Dabura's father, Abura. They leave to Earth with a Namekian named Reva and they ultimately push Dende and Mr. Popo aside to get the Dragon Balls and wish for Goku and his friends to turn into kids, resulting in a very significant cliffhanger.

Dragon Ball Daima episode 2 will probably establish the reaction that Goku and his friends had when they were turned into kids. Moreover, there is a very good chance that this episode is going to explore what they can do to revert this situation, plus perhaps explore Supreme Kai's relationship with Arinsu and Degesu.
