Recap of the previous episode

The episode begins with Goku, Shin, and Glorio stranded after their ship was stolen by their bar fight opponents. As they walk, Goku suggests flying to move faster, but Glorio explains that the gas in the air makes flying more exhausting. They reach a store where they eat and buy special insects with unique benefits, like healing and merging people, which reminds Goku of fusion techniques. The store owner's husband then negotiates with Glorio to use an unconventional travel method called Heaven's Seed.

The party is propelled for a lot of kilometers and has to land by using their flying ability as they also have to deal with several enemies and creatures. Moreover, they find a town where Gomah's soldiers are demanding more taxes and punishing people by extracting years of life of them, being attacked by a mysterious girl who Goku ends up saving.
