Dragon Ball Daima episode 9 will air on Friday, December 6, 2024, at 11:40 pm JST. The previous episode featured the awaited battle between Goku and Tamagami Number Three, which did not disappoint as both characters displayed great displays, and the protagonist got the first of the three Dragon Balls in the Demon Realm.

However, the most interesting part of the episode was the second part, where Arinsu's plans to overthrow Gomah and become queen of the Demon Realm became clear. Additionally, the episode revealed that a witch named Marba was the creator of Majin Buu, and they are using a portion of that entity, along with other ingredients, to create a more docile one. Dragon Ball Daima episode 9 will likely to explore this aspect.

Recap of episode 8

The episode starts where the previously left-off Goku and Tamagami Number Three begin to fight right from the get-go. The opening minutes of the battle allow viewers to see some of Tamagami's abilities, such as summoning his hammer and using some versions of Ki blasts.

Goku is overwhelmed to the point of having to use Super Saiyan to get an edge over his opponent. Then, he finishes the battle by using a Kamehameha while transforming into Super Saiyan 2. Tamagami Number Three accepts defeat, and the next stage is him hiding the Dragon Ball in one of five cups. Goku points out that he threw it elsewhere, thus winning the challenge and getting the orb.

The second half of the episode has Gomah discovering in his recordings of the Buu saga that Arinsu was there picking up pieces of Majin Buu when Vegeta's sacrifice destroyed the latter. The plot then moves to Arinsu herself, who is talking with a witch named Marba, who turns out to be the creator of Majin Buu. They are using the material of that creature, along with the female Gling's spit, to create a new Majin who is going to make the former the queen of the Demon Realm.
