Dungeon People episode 1 is set to be released on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at 1:53 AM JST. The anime will first air on MBS and TBS, followed by other television networks. After that, it will be made available to stream on several local streaming platforms and HIDIVE internationally.

Dungeon People, written and illustrated by Sui Futami, is a Japanese manga that began serialization on Futabasha's Web Comic Action website in June 2020. As of August 2023, its chapters have been compiled into four tankōbon volumes. Soon after, the series announced an anime adaptation produced by OLM.

As revealed by the anime's official website, Dungeon People episode 1 is set to be released on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at 1:53 AM JST. Evidently, the anime will premiere on Saturdays, but due to the series' simulrelease worldwide, it will be released on Fridays in many countries.

Dungeon People episode 1 will first be aired on MBS, TBS, and BS-TBS's "anime-ism" slot in Japan. Following that, the anime will be broadcast on other television networks.

Around the same time, the series will be made available to stream locally in Japan through streaming platforms like dAnimeStore, Hulu, Netflix, Prime Video, ABEMA, Bandai Channel, and others.

As for international streaming, the Dungeon People anime will be available on stream on HIDIVE.

What to expect from Dungeon People episode 1

According to the preview for Dungeon People episode 1, the anime's first episode is set to focus on Clay, a thief girl who has been looking for her father, who disappeared in the dungeons of "Antomurg" some time back.

While exploring the dungeon, Clay will reach the ninth floor of the dungeon, which has seemingly never been explored before. Nevertheless, given that she was raised strictly by her father, Clay will calmly proceed to further investigate the new level.

During her exploration, Clay is set to battle a monster. This battle will see the dungeon's wall collapse. While this accident could have been very dangerous, this is exactly what will kickstart the anime's storyline.

This is because the anime is set to see a living space existing inside the collapsed wall occupied by the dungeon's caretaker Belle. With that, the series will likely see the two characters interacting and Belle offering Clay an opportunity to work under her in the dungeon.
