Elbaf's Sun God takes over One Piece fandom with their "aura"

One Piece chapter 1128 is set to be released on October 7, 2024, but the raw scans of the chapter were released, which had the Elbaf's Sun God become the talk of the town. In this chapter's spoilers, the Elbaf Sun God was revealed as an imposter created through the hallucinations of the Straw Hat Pirates.

However, as the raw scans revealed their true look, fans couldn't help but praise them for their 'aura' as they looked pretty intimidating, very similar to horror movie villains. The fandom also took to the internet and appreciated the fake Sun God for his looks and "intimidating" aura that was emerging from his walk.

The raw scans for Chapter 1128 showed the Straw Hat Pirates' reunion as well as giant creatures attacking the crew before they saved Chopper. The chapter then turned to focus on the hallway of the castle. A giant, wearing a black cloak and a deer mask, was walking towards the Straw Hat Pirates.

The giant was Elbaf's Sun God, which was dubbed a fake because he had no relationship with the historical figure. However, now that the chapter finally revealed the character design of this fake Sun God, the fandom felt intimidated by it due to its mysterious and intimidating 'aura.'

This could be due to its creepy mask, which is mostly associated with the Grim Reaper. It could also be due to the giant's walk, which was pretty slow and resembled horror villains, the prime example being Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th.

The fandom was in awe over the appearance of the Elbaf's Sun God, as they weren't expecting them to look like a horror movie villain. The spoilers had revealed that they were wearing a deer-shaped mask, which was divulged in the hints for the chapter). So, the 'aura' of Elbaf's Sun God was taking over some fans.

A fan even claimed that this giant could be the only one with aura, as the other giants just look like the stereotypical ones. The panel where the Elbaf's Sun God was revealed was also titled as "a panel from a different manga series" because of the different character design of the fake Sun God.

Lastly, a fan speculated that this fake Sun God could be a part of the God Knights, and the proof of it was a panel from Garling Figarland, during the Native Hunting Competition. A person of a similar appearance was standing behind the current Gorosei, which could mean that Elbaf's Sun God is a God Knight.

Final thoughts

Despite being a fake, the Elbaf Sun God managed to win the hearts of the fandom through his character design. However, the real thing that matters is their powers, which would decide whether they could be related to the historical figure or not. Judging from their appearance, they look like a giant who impersonality the Sun God due to their mask and black cloak.
