The Magia Vander are the five strongest mages in Fujino Omori's Wistoria: Wand and Sword manga series who protect the world from the Heavenly Invaders. According to the narrative, when evil sentinels from the sky plunged the world into eternal darkness a hundred years ago, five powerful mages rose and defeated them.

Those mages also cast a barrier on top of a gigantic tower called the Mercedes Caulis to repel the darkness and bring light into the world. Eventually, they came to be known as The Magia Vander, a title bestowed on the strongest mage. These mages ensure that the barrier is maintained so that the evil forces don't infiltrate the world again.

The Magia Vanders' seat is always limited to five, and are picked from the best mages of the era. Although not much is known about the previous Magia Vanders in Wistoria: Wand and Sword, the current lot showcases exponential qualities to protect the world from evil.

From Ellenor to Aaron: All five current Magia Vander in Wistoria: Wand and Sword ranked by strength

5) Ellenor Ljos Alf (Fairy Magia Vander)

Ellenor Ljos Alf is the only elven Magia Vander member in Wistoria: Wand and Sword. As an elf, she looks down on those who cannot cast magic like Will Serfort. Yet, Ellenor strives to protect the kingdom against the Heavenly Invaders and is genuinely concerned about the lack of skilled mages in the country.

Moreover, she possesses incredible magic skills. Ellenor's Fantasy Magic can turn fantasies into reality, which she mastered at a young age. Interestingly, she lived with Wignall as his foster sibling in the past.

However, the elven mage was taken by the High Elves after she displayed her powerful magic abilities. Danmachi fans would know that Ellenor's surname is a direct reference to Riveria Ljos Alf from the series.

Although Cariott is a human mage, he possesses unbelievable qualities as one of the current era's Magia Vander. The Fire Faction leader, Cariott, reached the dungeon's 44th floor, making him one of the strongest mages. Like Ellenor, Cariott is concerned about the Heavenly Invaders and does his best to ensure the barrier is maintained.

When it comes to the skill set, Cariott hasn't yet shown his full might in Wistoria: Wand and Sword. However, he demonstrated his Fire Magic in the Magia Vander meeting room to "initiate" the Fire Faction's new recruits. His aura and fearsome fire magic edge him over Ellenor.

3) Elfaira Albis Serfort (Ice Magia Vander)

Although Elfaria Albis Serfort reached only up to the 37th floor in the dungeon, she is considered a prodigious mage. Elfaria is only the second mage along with Zeo who was selected as a Magia Vander without climbing the Tower's trials.

Moreover, she fought against Zeo on equal terms in Wistoria: Wand and Sword manga, making her one of the strongest Magia Vander to exist. Even though she is considered lazy, Elfaria's expertise in magic is incredible.

Aside from being the youngest Magia Vander in history, she holds the record of creating the most magic spells by a mage in the series. Elfaria crafted 12 ice magic spells and named the set El Glace Frosse.

Among those spells, Glacia Last Albis is a supreme-level ice magic, which summons an ice phoenix with incredible power. Besides Ice magic, Elfaria can also use almost every water spell.

2) Zeo Thorzeus Reinbolt (Thunder Magia Vander)

Compared to other Magia Vander, except Elfaria, Zeo Thorzeus Reinbolt exhibits a more accepting nature. He once mentioned that he would welcome even the dwarves or magicless people, as long as they were strong.

Zeo directly soared to being a Magia Vander, without claiming the Tower's harsh trials. Moreover, he's only second to Aaron in terms of venturing deep into the Dungeon, having cleared 48 floors by himself.

As a result, he can be considered the second strongest Magia Vander in Wistoria: Wand and Sword. Moreover, Zeo possesses incredible mastery over Lightning Magic. He showcased his might in the series by dueling with Elfaria.

1) Aaron Masterias Oldking (Light Magia Vander)

Aaron Masterias Oldking is considered the strongest Magia Vander member in Wistoria: Wand and Sword. He is also the oldest Magia Vander of the current lot. Aaron's supreme status crowns him the status of the Magia Vander king. Endowed with rare Light magic, Aaron Masterias Oldking reached the dungeon's 49th floor, a feat surpassed by none.

While the extent of his power is not shown in Wistoria: Wand and Sword, it's believed to surpass every Magia Vander. Moreover, Aaron's Light Magic is integral to making the Great Barrier. Therefore, his importance in the series is unmatched.
