My Hero Academia season 7 episode 3 was released on May 18, 2024, and the episode featured the much-anticipated reveal of the U.A. traitor, Aoyama Yuga. Where this might come as a surprise to some fans, it had been foreshadowed several times in the series.
My Hero Academia season 7 episode 3 started with the training session of Class 1-A who wanted to utilize the time Star and Stripe's efforts brought them. On the other side, Hagakure witnessed Aoyama's parents reveal his true self as the U.A. traitor. Midoriya appeared out of nowhere and captured them.
One of the biggest foreshadows of Aoyama's reveal as the traitor, which most fans would have noticed, is his suspicious character that acted frank with every student and his absence during alarming times. This article would compel every such foreshadowing to Aoyama's truth as the traitor of U.A. High School.

Exploring every foreshadowing of Aoyama's reveal as the U.A. Traitor in My Hero Academia season 7
The U.S.J. Incident arc
After their battle trials, Class 1-A visited the Unforeseen Simulation Joint for some hardcore training. The whole class was divided into groups, by space hero Thirteen, for some hand-to-hand combat warm-up, but the League of Villains made a surprise entry.
Aoyama was paired with Hagakure during this training but after the League of Villains appeared, he disappeared and Hagakure was seen with Ojiro. Moreover, after the League of Villains escaped, Aoyama was seen, desperately asking his friends to ask where he was, as he wanted to ask as less suspiciously as possible.
The Final Exams arc
The final exams were conducted before Class 1-A visited the Forest for a training camp. During this, the students had to face their teachers in a group of two. Aoyama was paired with Uraraka to face Thirteen. Thirteen activated her vacuum as Aoyama and Uraraka hung on for dear life.
While Uraraka was devising a plan to escape, Aoyama told her that she was thinking about what Deku would do, which she was. This made her blush and she made a hair-close escape from a fatal injury. Aoyama could have done this because he didn't want the school to visit the forest training camp as he had to tell All for One their location.
The Forest Training Camp arc
After clearing their final exams, Class 1-A visited the training camp in the forests where they met the Wild, Wild Pussycats hero group. The hero group helped Class 1-A nurture their quirks and physical attributes.
During this arc, Aoyama was seen hiding in the bushes after Dabi and Twice made their move. Dabi and Aoyama made eye contact, but the villain didn't come after the hero, as if he knew Aoyama was their ally
Hideout Raid arc
After the kidnapping of Bakugo, the students of Class 1-A devised a plan to save their classmate. But the teacher had forbidden them from doing anything further as they had already acted out of the orders of the teachers in the previous arc.
Out of every student, Aoyama was the only one who advised his classmates to not go after Bakugo and to leave everything to All Might and the teachers. Fans thought this was Aoyama's cowardness, but he could have been worried about things getting complicated with All for One, to whom he had to report everything they were doing.
Provisional Hero License Exam Arc
After becoming capable heroes, Class 1-A and the other classes of U.A. High School took the Provisional Hero License Exam to obtain the license to become an official hero.
During this arc, where everyone from Class 1-A tried their best to defeat other students, Aoyama was hiding somewhere. This could be because Aoyama wanted to drop out of his Class 1-A. After all, he had only caused them harm until now by acting as a spy for All for One.
U.A. School Festival Arc
After saving Eri from Overhaul, it was time for the U.A. High School Festival. Class 1-A had to do something as a group and they decided to do a skit which involved dancing and singing. During this arc, it was revealed Aoyama usually ate his lunch alone during lunch breaks, which could be a foreshadowing of his true self as the U.A. traitor.
Moreover, one of the biggest clues about Aoyama's true self as the U.A. traitor, was when he sneaked into the balcony of Midoriya's room and wrote 'I Know' with cheese bits. This made Midoriya think that Aoyama knew about the truth of One for All but this could be to divert Deku's attention from Aoyama as a suspicious person.
The Dark Deku arc
Deku left U.A. High School thinking he was the cause of the League of Villains attacking them. This didn't sit well with his friends and they decided to trap him and give him a break as he was traveling across Japan to stop villainous activities on his own.

Probably another big foreshadowing of Aoyama's true self as the U.A. traitor was that he wasn't present when Class 1-A was fighting the media to support Deku. Hagakure was also absent but she never interacted with Deku to start with. This could be the point where guilt had taken over Aoyama and he didn't have the strength to confront his classmates.
With Aoyama revealed as the U.A. traitor in the latest episode, it will be interesting to see the character redeem himself in future episodes.
