Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest chapter 162 was quite an interesting one and it gave fans plenty to discuss. Ignia and Natsu were given the spotlight for the first half of the chapter. The latter was shocked to realize that Ignia was Igneel’s son.

However, that wasn’t the most exciting part of the story. Towards the later stages of the chapter, their conversation was cut short by another entity that appeared to have a dark aura. The stream of light that was emitted caught Erza, Happy, and Gray’s attention.

Fans have reason to believe that Acnologia, the legendary Dragon Slayer made his return to the story in a way that they least expected. Here are some of the highlights from Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest chapter 162.

The manga began with Natsu Dragneel attempting to punch Ignia. The latter remained unaffected and maintained his composure. The bystanders were shocked and Natsu proceeded to ask Ignia if Igneel was indeed his father. To this, Ignia replied stating that his father was indeed Igneel and that he loved humans. Ignia then expressed his will to take everyone to the Dragon World.

Just when Ignia mentioned the Dragon King Festival in Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest chapter 162, a mysterious figure appeared out of nowhere and a black-colored light was being emitted. This startled both Natsu and Ignia. The manga panel then shifted its focus to Happy and other deuteragonists.

When Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest chapter 162 finally returned to the conversation taking place between the new mysterious entity, Natsu, and Ignia, things got slightly tense. The aforementioned entity stated that the Dragon King Festival involved Acnologia, humans, and a black wizard - the Fire Dragon God. The entity soon revealed itself and it turned out to be a more menacing and evil version of Faris.

Upon introducing herself as Black Wizard Faris, she stated her interest in joining this battle. Natsu was shocked to see Faris in this new avatar while Ignia was still shocked. Ignia’s shock was for a very different reason because he felt Acnologia’s presence when Faris joined them in the Fire God Castle. This is why fans have reason to believe that Acnologia might return to the series since Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest chapter 162 hinted at the dragon’s potential return.

Acnologia is a Dragon Slayer who terrorizes people with his overwhelming power. He could take on any dragon form that he wanted to, because of his ability to use Dragon Slayer Magic and the fact that he bathed in the blood of every dragon that he killed. He was so strong that he defeated an entire country.

Even Gildarts managed to barely escape, making him the first-ever mage to see Acnologia and live to tell the story. Based on what was shown in Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest chapter 162, fans can expect Acnologia’s return to the series as Faris.
