In Right Hand Town, Fairy Tail’s battle against Aldoron's formidable wood golems raged on. Lucy, in her Aquarius x Scorpio Star Dress, managed to defeat one of the golems but collapsed from magic exhaustion, leaving her teammates to press Gray and Juvia to defeat Metro quickly before more golems emerged.

As Gray and Juvia faced Metro, the God Seed declared himself the embodiment of Aldoron's power and vowed to annihilate them. Juvia’s water body withstood Metro's crushing assault, but he then absorbed her into himself. Gray, determined to rescue her, dodged Metro's Water Ray and hesitated to attack, fearing he might hurt Juvia.

Taunting Gray, Metro ordered the golem to strike, probing if Juvia was Gray's strength. Gray boldly affirmed she was his strength to live, which incensed Metro. However, Juvia, inspired by Gray's confession, began to boil inside Metro, causing him pain.

Seizing an idea, Gray asked Juvia to let him use her water form. She eagerly consented, allowing him to freeze her body and extract her from Metro, then using her frozen form to craft a hammer. With Metro disoriented, the pair launched a powerful Unison Raid, creating an Ice Wave that shattered their foe.

Instead, Gray thanked her for her safety and led her to rejoin the others.

However, the transformation needed a Dragon-worthy opponent, drawing everyone’s attention to Gajeel.

Meanwhile, at Left Hand Town, Jellal faced Gears, another God Seed. Gears, increasing his magic power, conjured gear-like circles that latched onto Jellal, dulling his mind and reflexes.

When Jellal attempted to activate his Meteor spell, he instead produced only an image of himself, the spell itself forgotten. Gears mocked Jellal, labeling him irrelevant, and threw a punch. Jellal, confused and sluggish, perceived Gears as Erza. Gears sensed Jellal’s vision and sneered, but elsewhere, Erza awoke, feeling Jellal’s presence, only to be teased by Laxus, who called Jellal her "boyfriend."

In his hazy state, Jellal suffered Gears’ relentless blows, believing he might soon die by "Erza’s" hand. Consumed by regret, he thought death fitting for the pain he’d caused her. Suddenly, a familiar voice cut through his despair, urging him to survive. It was Ultear, who appeared in a time-distorted realm where her magic could intervene.

She reminded Jellal of Erza’s sacrifices for him, declaring his new purpose was to live for her sake. Reassured by her words, Jellal snapped back to reality and deduced that his guilt was feeding Gears’ magic.

He created a Thought Projection of his Siegrain persona, symbolizing his sins, and transferred the magic circles onto it. He then unleashed his Grand Chariot spell, obliterating Gears. With his own "gears" now aligned with Erza’s, Jellal warned Gears to stay out of their way.

Natsu, dismissing this notion, asserted that only Zeref was his brother where the episode comes to an end.
