The episode opens with Natsu facing Aldoron, weakened from the destruction of his God Seeds but still powerful enough to kill. Aldoron taunts Natsu, claiming his strength will regenerate as the God Seeds revive over time, fueled by the Wood Dragon God’s life-giving powers.

Natsu's attacks are met with Aldoron’s “Leaf Tempest.” The Fire Dragon Slayer attempts to burn the attack, but the God Seed remain unaffected, pelting him as the two enter a fierce altercation. Aldoron mocks Natsu’s inability to land a solid hit. On the outside world, Gajeel – who has been temporarily enlarged by Brandish’s magic – lands a powerful blow on Aldoron’s face, rallying the Fairy Tail mages to cheer.

Brandish mentions that Gajeel will only remain giant for three minutes, but he makes the most of it, using his Iron Dragon powers to counter Aldoron’s branch attacks, slamming the Wood Dragon God into the ground.

Natsu dodges the sharp onslaught, but one spike pierces his hand. The relentless thorns continue to trap and injure him, forcing him down as Aldoron declares the futility of resisting a god.

Natsu, however, ignites his fists, realizing he can burn the thorns if he raises his flame’s temperature. Fueled by determination, he re-engages with Aldoron, declaring that he fights for Fairy Tail and the people who believe in him.

Meanwhile, Diabolos, the dark guild of Dragon Eaters, learns of Aldoron’s fall.

Skullion’s team reports to their leader, Georg, relaying that the Wood Dragon God’s remains have turned to dirt and trees, their companion Nebaru has disappeared, and Wraith, another ally, has passed on to the afterlife. Acknowledging Fairy Tail as Ishgar’s strongest guild, Diabolos decides to focus on their next Dragon God target, Selene, the Moon Dragon God.

Georg, determined to see them succeed, assigns Suzaku the Vermillion Dragon from the Dark Dragon Slayer Knights to join them, warning that he expects no further failures.

She notes that Touka, an Exceed, was revealed to have had her body taken over by the White Wizard, leaving both unconscious. Later, outside the bar, Erza encounters Jellal by a bridge. The two reflect on the events of recent days and Jellal’s journey towards self-forgiveness. Embracing Erza, Jellal thanks her, saying that because of her support, he feels free to open his heart to others.
