After Natsu manages to burn through Madmole’s armor, he and Wendy reunite with Lucy, Carla, Gray, and Happy, who prepare to lend their strength in the ongoing battle. Despite his previous burns, Madmole, at Skullion’s command, rises once again, ready to continue the fight.

Meanwhile, Erza, donning her Flame Empress Armor, successfully lands a blow on Kiria, propelling them both through the ship’s deck. As they fall, Skullion intervenes, forcibly teleporting Kiria to his location. Acknowledging the formidable strength of the Fairy Tail Mages, Skullion receives Natsu’s resolute declaration that they will protect Mercphobia and find a solution that doesn’t involve eliminating the Water Dragon God.

However, Skullion reveals that their guild, Diabolos, is much larger than just their trio of Dragon Eaters and promises to demonstrate their true power. With a wave of his hand, he teleports himself and his companions away, leaving Team Natsu in disbelief as the Diabolos ship disintegrates into ash. Erza speculates that the ship had been a creation of Molding Magic.

Undeterred, the Fairy Tail mages returns to the Water Dragon God's temple, though Carla expresses concern due to Karameel's earlier outburst. As they approach, Mercphobia awakens and, in a sudden rage, grasps Karameel by the neck, yelling for her to flee.

Team Natsu arrives by boat in Ermina, only to witness the Water Dragon God, Mercphobia, rampaging through the harbor. As they struggle to comprehend the situation, Karameel approaches, confessing that she had the White Wizard steal Mercphobia's powers to grant him a normal life.

However, she later learnt that the White Wizard had merely restricted his magic, which could be restored to its full power at any time. Tears streaming down her face, Karameel begs Team Natsu to kill Mercphobia.

Meanwhile, in Magnolia, a shackled Touka awakens in the Fairy Tail guildhall, where she is questioned by Jellal and the other Mages. She reveals that she joined the guild to meet Wendy, believing the young Dragon Slayer could expel the White Wizard from her body.

However, the White Wizard soon regains control of Touka's vessel, breaking her bonds and returning Mercphobia’s magic to its full power. As Mercphobia's condition worsens, Karameel, overwhelmed with despair, pleads with the Dragon Slayers to end the Water Dragon God's suffering, while Natsu remains caught in a state of indecision.

Confronted with the dire choice of killing Mercphobia, Natsu lashes out at Karameel, chastising her for involving the White Wizard. He refuses to slay the Water Dragon God but is stopped by Erza and Carla, the latter reminding him of his vow to protect their team.

With Natsu’s reluctant agreement, Wendy enchants the team with Dragon Slayer Magic, and they launch a barrage of attacks on Mercphobia. However, their efforts prove futile, as the dragon emerges unscathed, raising the entire ocean above Ermina, and leaving the team in awe of his overwhelming power.
