Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest episode 6 highlights
Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest episode 6 starts with Mercphobia nearly destroying Ermina with his water orbital strikes, causing distress among the Fairy Tail mages and angering Natsu. Carried by Happy, Natsu confronts the Water Dragon God with his dragon roar, but Mercphobia quickly extinguishes the attack and overwhelms Natsu and Happy with a powerful wave. Meanwhile, the rest of Team Natsu attempts to damage the dragon but fails.
Conflicted about battling Mercphobia, Natsu vows to slay him but is caught in a vortex created by the Water Dragon God. As his comrades watch in terror, a dragon's hand emerges from the vortex, grabbing Natsu, while a voice refuses to surrender him to Mercphobia.
A red dragon appears from the vortex, radiating enormous magic power and shocking Team Natsu. The dragon questions Mercphobia, but the Water Dragon God, having lost all reason, does not respond. Releasing Natsu, the red dragon taunts his weakness and relation to Igneel, revealing himself as a fire dragon. He sets the harbor ablaze, causing panic among the residents, while Mercphobia attempts to douse the flames.
The fire dragon boasts that his flames can burn water and encourages Natsu to consume them. Ignia, one of the Five Dragon Gods and Igneel’s son, reveals his identity and expresses frustration at Natsu’s perceived weakness. Ignia recounts his history, explaining that he and other dragons took refuge from Acnologia centuries ago, with the Five Dragon Gods eventually surpassing the Dragon King in strength.
Frustrated by Natsu's lack of power, Ignia threatens the lives of his comrades to motivate him. Despite Natsu’s anger, Ignia remains unfazed and promises to fight him in the future before departing. Initially refusing to consume Ignia’s flames, Natsu eventually does so after encouragement from his teammates, eliminating the fire from Ermina.
Empowered by Ignia's flames, Natsu faces Mercphobia, countering the Water Dragon God’s powerful roar with Fire Dragon King's Brilliant Flame. With the help of Gray and Erza, who are enchanted with Dragon Slayer Seals, Natsu delivers a devastating attack on Mercphobia. As the Water Dragon God collapses, Natsu, consumed by rage, threatens to burn everything to ash. Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest episode 6 concludes with Lucy embracing Natsu, bringing him back to reality.
