Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest episode 6 opened with Mercphobia launching a devastating water attack on the Ermina harbor, infuriating Natsu. Carried by Happy, Natsu then confronts the Water Dragon God with his dragon roar, but Mercphobia quickly neutralizes the attack, catching them in a massive wave.

Despite Team Natsu's efforts, they fail to harm Mercphobia. Natsu, reluctant but determined, vows to defeat the Water Dragon God. Suddenly, a red dragon emerges from a vortex created by Mercphobia, revealing himself as Ignia, the son of Igneel. Ignia mocks Natsu’s weakness and urges him to consume his flames to gain power. Ignia then sets the harbor on fire, challenging Natsu to extinguish the flames.

Reluctantly, Natsu consumes the flames, gaining immense power, and launches a fierce assault on Mercphobia. With the help of Gray and Erza, who are enchanted with Dragon Slayer Seals, Natsu lands a powerful Demolition Fist, collapsing Mercphobia. However, consumed by the power of Ignia's flames, Natsu nearly continues the attack until Lucy hugs him, calming him down. As they fall to their knees, Lucy’s embrace brings Natsu back to his senses, ending the battle.
