Anime twins are one of the most popular tropes in anime media. The attraction towards this trope is from the chemistry between the twins, which exists in all its glory most of the time.

While one of the twins has a wild and rude personality, the other has a kind and forgiving personality. But this is not the rule of thumb as the personalities of anime twins vary accordingly in different series.

Muichiro and Yuichiro are among the newest popular anime twins introduced during the Demon Slayer Swordsmith Village arc (season 3). The anime twins never agreed on one thing, which resulted in them having conflicted thoughts most of the time.

Unfortunately, the only time they had the same thoughts was moments before they were attacked by a demon. Yuichiro was gravely injured by the demon but Muichiro stepped in and killed it. Sadly, it was too late and Yuichiro died. Muichiro later became the Mist Hashira and continued slaying demons for his brother.

Johan and Anna Liebert are the anime twins from Monster. These two became famous for their cunning and smart demeanor. They also had identical looks, which became evident after Johan put on a wig and tried manipulating a boy who couldn't differentiate between them.

It all started after these two were adopted by the Liebert family because their real parents killed each other. Johan, mentally affected by this and the Eugenics Experiment, which was conducted on him in the past, became insane and started manipulating others. Nina, who couldn't stop Johan, tried her best to prevent him before it was too late.

Kaoru and Hikaru are the classic anime twins from the famous series Ouran High School Host Club. Despite the latter being the elder one and considered the leader between them, Kaoru is the more mature one.

They appeared during the Sasuke Recovery Mission and faced Kiba Inuzuka and his dog Akamaru who beat both of them despite their overpowered jutsu technique. They reappeared during the Fourth Great Ninja War through Kabuto's reincarnation jutsu technique.

While Kyou is the one with the aggressive and wise personality, Ryou is the gullible one who is protected by her twin sister. Both of them had feelings for Okazaki Tomoya, the protagonist, but didn't pursue him after they saw him care for Nagisa Furukawa, the female protagonist.

These achievements have also affected Atsumu's personality as he is a rude person who doesn't think twice before saying something. On the other hand, Osamu is the exact opposite as he hardly likes to interact with people, but is still as enthusiastic as his twin brother when it comes to volleyball.

Maki and Mai are the Zenin sisters from Jujutsu Kaisen. Maki was born with no aptitude for cursed energy so Mai always belittled her being a failure, but on the inside, she still cared for her sister.

During the Perfect Preparation arc, these two were left to die in a room full of cursed spirits by their father, which was when Maki awakened her cursed energy. This was possible due to Mai's sacrifice because one twin dying would awaken the true potential of the other twin. This was the only time these two shared a good time since their childhood.

The reincarnated anime twins Ruby and Aqua were patient and doctor in their previous lives. These two were then reincarnated as the children of Ai Hoshino, a famous idol after Ruby died of disease and Aqua was killed.

As both of them admired Ai, they enjoyed her company as their mother but their happiness was short-lived because Ai was assassinated. So, while Ruby focused on following in her mother's footsteps, Aqua sought revenge for his innocent mother.

Rem and Ram were the maids of the Roswell Mansion in Re: Zero. Despite the show having a specific fandom, these two are one of the most famous, if not the most famous, anime twins in the media.

Both of them were born as one-horned demons in the Oni clan, leading to them facing discrimination their whole lives. After their clan was massacred during the attack of the witch cult, they were saved by Roswall, who took them in as his mansion's maids.

The most famous anime twins, Andriod 17 and 18, are robotic twins created by Dr. Gero to defeat Son Goku. As they were Androids (human+robot), they were created from humans and were named Lapis and Lazuli. They betrayed their creator and killed him after they were activated.

After causing a bit of havoc, Android 18 married Krillin, one of the supporting protagonists, and as revealed during the Dragon Ball Super series, Andriod 17 also settled down with someone. Their competitive behavior was a problem when they were just killing machines, but their sibling bond became stronger when they interacted with humans.
