A brief recap of the Frieren anime episode 7
Frieren: Beyond Journey's End episode 7 kicked off with Elfen Mage and her friends helping a traveling merchant reach the nearby town by removing obstacles on the path. Thereafter, they attended the Liberation Festival that was held every year in that town.
It was revealed that the Liberation Festival commemorated the heroics of Hero Himmel and his party. Afterward, they reached Graf Granat's domain, where Frieren confronted a demon. The Elfen mage got thrown into a dungeon for openly targeting the demon in front of the crowd.
Following the chaotic incident, Frieren's mage apprentice Fern and the warrior Stark went to visit Frieren and told her that the demon envoy who visited the town worked for Aura. According to Frieren, Aura was a demon who served the Demon King.
She warns Fern and Stark about the demons, mentioning how they cannot be trusted. The Elfen mage feared that the town would be devastated if the demons weren't taken care of. A flashback revealed a poignant scenario portraying how the demons learned the human tongue to deceive people.
The episode revealed that the Demon envoy named Lord Lugner wanted to establish peace with Granat so that the latter would lower the town's defense and make it easy for Aura to infiltrate the town.
One of the subordinates of Lord Lugner realized the threat that Frieren posed. As a result, he went inside the dungeon with the intent of killing the mage. However, Frieren remained calm and composed and declared that she was even stronger than the demon Aura.
