Fandoms like Naruto and Demon Slayer have been at the forefront of producing numerous fan art within the anime community. While the anime fandom rarely shares fan art of subjects unrelated to anime, the Olympics 2024 shooters have managed to break that norm.

The Olympics 2024 shooters have recently seen an astronomical rise in popularity across the world due to their rather unique way of approaching the sport of shooting, while also indirectly embodying aspects of various anime characters. A few Naruto fans have shared fan art of the shooters while imagining their counterparts from Masashi Kishimoto's series, while other fandoms have noted the small similarities between Yusuf Dikec and Genya from Demon Slayer.

The Sakamoto Days fandom has also joined in and shared fan art of Sakamoto striking Yusuf Dikec's shooting pose. Sakamoto himself is a retired hitman and is currently living as a nonchalant civilian while possessing near-unparalleled skill in shooting and combat.

Many fans have noticed how Sakamoto's entire story is very similar to the memes surrounding Yusuf Dikec, with many fans jokingly deeming him a "retired hitman." Even Kagurabachi fans have compared Kim Yeji and Yusuf Dikec to the Hishaku Leader and Shiba.
