Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 15 spoilers have already been unveiled, and after a very heated battle against one of the Shinju, Gaara was sealed away by his son for the future of the Hidden Sand Village. This made the fate of the current Kazekage similar to that of the Seventh Hokage, who was also sealed away by someone he considered family.
Moreover, the origins of Shinki and Kawaki were also similar, as both were picked up by their saviors when they were in their worst states. This led both boys to try their best to return the favor by protecting their saviors using unconventional means that could prove fatal to their village's well-being.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 15 sees Gaara getting sealed just like Naruto
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 15 commenced with a flashback from the past when Gaara fought Matsuri, Moegi's Shinju, to protect the next generation of Hidden Sand Village. After Matsuri couldn't do anything, she tried expelling the young shinobi outside of her range, but Shinki, Gaara's adoptive son, couldn't see his father die.
He immediately used his Magnet Release chakra and sealed his father inside an Iron Sand Prison. Sadly, at the same time, Shinki was absorbed by a Claw Grime and became a chakra tree, which led to the birth of Ryu. However, his Iron Sand Prison remained intact.
In Boruto: Naruto Next Generations chapter 77, Kawaki couldn't see his savior getting killed by Boruto because Momoshiki had active control over the protagonist. So, Kawaki visited home and sealed away Naruto and Hinata in another dimension until he took care of Momoshiki so that Naruto would no longer be threatened to die.
So, both Naruto and Gaara share the same fate as in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 15. Ironically, the leaders of the Hidden Sand Village (Kazekage) and Hidden Leaf Village (Hokage) are currently sealed away in another dimension, even though their villages need their help. Moreover, the origins of the boys who sealed away their loved ones are similar.
Shinki was captured by the Hidden Leaf Village when he was running berserk. He prompted Gaara and tried to kill him, but the Kazekage hugged him in exchange, offering help. Gaara later adopted him and taught him everything to control his rare kekkei genkai.
Similarly, Kawaki was bought from his father by Jigen, who later experimented on the boy his entire childhood. However, Kawaki tried running away while transporting and was caught by the Hidden Leaf shinobi, who took him to Naruto.
Despite Kawaki's rebellious behavior, Naruto assured him that no one would harm him and gave him the love of a fatherly figure. Seeing their saviors in danger, Kawaki and Shinki took drastic measures to ensure they could return the favor.
Final thoughts
Kawaki sealed Naruto inside a void so the Hokage is still of the same age as he was before the time skip. However, Gaara was sealed on Earth, so his body could still be aging. Although this difference might initially seem trivial, it could play a vital role in the series when both village leaders are unsealed.
