The chapter commences with Amo regaining consciousness at the Cleaners' infirmary, with Rudo by her side. She apologizes to him and feels everything that has happened to her must have been retribution for her crimes. However, having met Rudo and others at the Cleaners', she doesn't want to disappear again and experience loneliness.

Suddenly, Tamsy arrives and interrupts Rudo and Amo's conversation. He cunningly asks Amo whether she can recall her captor. Interestingly, Amo can only remember a long-haired woman and nobody else. The girl adds that she can recall almost everything except the identity of her captor.

Tamsy feels that it's only natural since Amo was only given water for four days and nothing else. However, he hopes she will remember everything once she becomes fit. The next panel in the chapter reveals Tamsy possessing the Watchman Book he stole from Regto after eliminating him in the Sphere.

Apparently, the book belongs to the Watchman series, and it has the ability to modify or erase one's memory. That's how Tamsy erased himself from Amo's memories from the time he held her captive.

Meanwhile, the Eager Faction's cleaner asks Rudo whether he has heard anything about the Watchman series from Kuro, the information broker. Rudo reveals that he asked Kuro about the whereabouts of the Choker's maker. However, the information broker didn't know.

Tamsy finds it strange that Rudo didn't receive an answer despite paying the price. However, seeing the boy's facial expression, Tamsy speculates that Rudo must be hiding something from him.
