Gachiakuta chapter 114, titled Flailin', begins with Rudo leaving the infirmary with Tamsy soon after Amo falls asleep. Tamsy asks Rudo what he plans to do next. He wonders whether the boy will look around for more information on the Watchman series or search for Amo's kidnapper.

As soon as Rudo hears the word "kidnapper" from Tamsy, he begins speculating the reasons why Amo was abducted in the first place. After thinking about multiple possibilities, Rudo wonders whether the kidnapper only wanted to make Amo suffer.

Tamsy feels it's possible since Amo has made many enemies. Yet, while the Eager Faction's Cleaner doesn't want to stop Rudo from finding the kidnapper, he reminds him that there are other things to do, such as looking for clues on how the Sphere and the Ground are connected.

He adds that the hint may be lurking closer than Rudo thinks. Just then, Gachiakuta chapter 114 shifts to Enjin, who gestures at Rudo to come with him. Tamsy takes it as a cue to leave the scene. Rudo becomes slightly nervous because he doesn't know what to say. Eventually, he tells the Cleaner that he will keep him posted.

Meanwhile, Gachiakuta chapter 114 shows Rudo and Enjin conversing in gestures. Rudo feels it's fine to tell everything to Tamsy, but Enjin disapproves because the Choker Maker may hear him. After walking down the stairs for a while, Enjin and Rudo arrive before a tall door. The door has a postcard hanging outside, which reads "Leave me Alone or Face My Wrath." Enjin unapologetically smashes the door, and a fish-like figure appears.

Gachiakuta chapter 114 reveals that it's none other than August, who has a passion for creating dolls. Enjin hands him some snacks and introduces Rudo. August excitedly tells Enjin that he's preparing his costume for the Doll Festival.

Suddenly, Rudo recalls that he has to join the South Ward's Doll Festival to find the White Crow, as per the letter given by Kuro. He requests August to let him in, which the Cleaner accepts in a heartbeat. Since Rudo is joining, August feels he has to prepare a costume for him as well.

Enjin gestures to Rudo that it's for the better because if they go to the Doll Festival in their Cleaner's uniform, they will stand out. Besides that, Enjin tells Rudo that the twins from the South Branch, whom the boy hasn't met yet, will be participating in the festival.
