That said, a moment that truly caught fans off-guard occurred towards the end of the chapter. The scene featured a confrontation between Yuji Itadori and Ryomen Sukuna, which fans immediately realized was a direct parallel to an infamous moment between Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 236.

Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 264: How a Yuji-Sukuna parallel with Gojo and Geto's airport scene took the Internet by storm

According to the alleged spoilers, Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 264 featured one of the most highly-anticipated moments in the entirety of the series, as Yuji Itadori finally unlocked his Domain Expansion in his battle against Ryomen Sukuna.

This was a moment that fans have been dying to see for the longest time, especially since Yuji was practically powerless before the Shinjuku Showdown arc. As such, seeing him achieving his own Domain, that too, in the midst of a decisive battle against the King of Curses, meant that Yuji had finally reached the pinnacle of Jujutsu sorcery.

What's even more impressive is that Yuji managed to reach such great heights in the world of jujutsu in less than a year of experience in sorcery. Towards the end of the chapter, Yuji trapped Sukuna inside his Domain, which is currently unnamed.

Surprisingly, his Domain turned out to be some sort of a train station, where Sukuna had somehow transformed into his initial self when he was in control of Yuji's body instead of his Heian Era form.

However, this was not all that Gege Akutami had in store for fans. The scene where Yuji challenged Sukuna to a one-on-one fight inside the former's Domain was surprisingly reminiscent of a scene in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 236.

In chapter 236, Suguru Geto welcomed Satoru Gojo inside an airport alongside the rest of his deceased friends. The whole airport scene turned out to be a sort of afterlife hallucination that Gojo had in the moments before his demise.

Upon closer inspection, fans will notice that the way Yuji challenged Sukuna was almost an exact recreation of Geto greeting Gojo, which means that the mangaka had drawn this scene intentionally. This scene served as a callback to one of the series' most devastating yet heartwarming scenes.

Gege Akutami recreating Gojo and Geto's airport reunion scene with Sukuna and Yuji in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 264 led the fandom to collectively laugh at the mangaka's wicked sense of humor.

Some called the mangaka a "troll," while others simply laughed at the situation and predicted that Sukuna was about to be off-screened inside Yuji's Domain, similar to Gojo.
