Jujutsu Kaisen's ending left many fans feeling unsatisfied, as several plot points were unresolved, suggesting the climax may have been rushed. While some characters received closure in the epilogue, others, like Geto Suguru, were left unexplored.
After Kenjaku took over Geto's body, he caused chaos, but during the Shibuya arc, Geto's body briefly rebelled. This moment could have expanded on Kenjaku's Brain Transplant cursed technique, but it was dismissed with a laugh, making it one of the series' biggest missed opportunities.

Jujutsu Kaisen: Why Kenjaku's cursed technique might have received an explanation in the Shibuya arc
During the Shibuya arc, the sole purpose of the cursed spirits was to seal Gojo Satoru inside the Prison Realm. For this purpose, they placed every piece where it was needed. However, as expected, no one could counter the strongest sorcerer and this resulted in the sacrifice of Hanami. However, in the nick of time, Gojo appeared before Kenjaku.
At first glance, the strongest sorcerer saw a flashback of memories with Geto Suguru as Kenjaku was using the body of the strongest sorcerer's best friend. However, after returning to his senses (and sensing his opponent's cursed energy), Gojo realized that the one standing before him wasn't his best friend but something sinister.
Unfortunately, Gojo couldn't get a chance to run and was immediately sealed inside the Prison Realm. After them, Kenjaku revealed his brain and told Gojo his future plans. However, the strongest sorcerer wasn't happy seeing his best friend's body being used so Gojo called out Geto. To Kenjaku's surprise, Geto's body tried to choke itself.
Kenjaku was surprised and even stated that in the last thousand years (when the antagonist had used his cursed technique to use different people's bodies), this was the first time he saw someone rebel against his control. Kenjaku then talked to Mahito about his theory regarding the importance of the soul (in comparison to the body) and stated that they were equal because the soul is the body.
Sadly, this was the only talk regarding this case, and Gojo Satoru was immediately sealed afterward. While Geto's return might be impossible, given how he was dead, this 'choking' moment was perfect for the author to explain the limitations of Geto's Brain Transplant technique. For the fans who do not know, Kenjaku's cursed technique never got any closure in the series.
Kenjaku's cursed technique remained a mystery, and he died without seeing his plan, the Great Merger, succeed. Fans are left wondering if the voice of a loved one or prolonged control over a host could weaken Kenjaku's dominance. Unfortunately, these questions remain unanswered.
Final thoughts
As already emphasized numerous times, Jujutsu Kaisen is not a series one could binge-read. The unutilized plotlines become obvious while doing so (an issue that didn't become obvious during the series' weekly release).
Kenjaku's role was pivotal to the entire series given how he was responsible for everything after the Shibuya arc. However, he died in vain (literally) and became one of the biggest flaws of Jujutsu Kaisen.
