Gojo eating Sukuna's finger in Jujutsu Kaisen would have given birth to an absolute monster

Although he may not have succeeded in defeating Ryomen Sukuna during the Shinjuku Showdown in the Jujutsu Kaisen manga, Satoru Gojo has etched his name in the series as one of the strongest and most memorable characters to ever exist.

His presence not only amplified the story due to his hilarious antics and charismatic personality, but it also provided the characters with a feeling of reassurance, even in the most dire situations.

While he mostly remains benevolent and fights for the sake of humanity against curses, fans sometimes come up with scenarios where Gojo abandons his morals and crosses over to the dark side. With such a scenario in mind, it is terrifying to imagine the horrors the main cast of Jujutsu Kaisen would have had to face, if Gojo ever decided to consume Sukuna's fingers and became a vessel for the King of Curses.

Reimagining Jujutsu Kaisen with Satoru Gojo as Ryomen Sukuna's vessel

Apart from being the highlight of Jujutsu Kaisen, Satoru Gojo is one of the most beloved characters in the anime community today. Over the past couple of years, he has gained a massive following due to his overwhelming displays of power, kind-hearted yet playful nature, and overall cheerful personality.

However, that hasn't stopped people from imagining what Gojo would be like as a villain, as several fans have often come up with alternate scenarios where everyone's favorite blindfolded sensei succumbs to his dark side.

While Gojo becoming evil would likely lead to a doomsday scenario in the already bleak world of Jujutsu Kaisen, it would be even more catastrophic if he ever decided to try and become the vessel for the King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna.

It's certainly no easy task imagining a world where Gojo aligns with Sukuna, seeing how both characters prefer being left alone in their own element. However, such a scenario is certainly interesting to theorize about, although several things need to be taken into consideration before the theory is fleshed out.

First and foremost, the specific requirement for a person to become Sukuna's vessel hasn't been revealed in great detail as of yet, except for the fact that such a person is said to be born only once in a thousand years.

Yuji Itadori was designed to be the perfect vessel for Sukuna by Kenjaku, presumably due to the former's connection to the King of Curses. Due to this Gojo may not be the ideal person to be Sukuna's vessel and may even die if he consumed a finger.

However, this scenario assumes that Gojo somehow manages to become a suitable vessel for Sukuna's power. Seeing as how Gojo was said to be gifted since birth, it wouldn't be a stretch to assume that he could serve as more of a cage for Sukuna than a vessel, similar to Yuji.

In that case, he could choose when to let Sukuna take control of his body, and when to keep him suppressed. It should also be noted that due to Gojo's immense strength, he would likely not be subdued by Sukuna the way Yuji and Megumi were.

From hereon, it's only a matter of whether Gojo remains true to his morals or crosses over to the dark side. There would not be a single sorcerer in the entire world who could prevent Gojo from finding and consuming all 20 fingers. If he still manages to retain control of his body after consuming all 20 fingers, there's a high chance that the higher-ups of the Jujutsu society would likely label Gojo as a curse and exile him.

However, such an attempt would likely further anger Gojo, which would lead to him wiping out the higher-ups all by himself— something that he had longed to do since the beginning. If he does end up taking this route, it's quite possible that none of his students would see him in the same light they used to and would probably try to stop him.

As anyone would expect, this would likely end up going south for the protagonists pretty soon, since there's a high possibility that Gojo may end up snapping and would lose control of his sense of morality.

Due to the overwhelming power at his disposal, he may either end up aligning himself with the King of Curses, or fall victim to the latter's schemes. This would in turn lead to Sukuna finally taking control of Gojo's body.

From here on out, Sukuna would annihilate the entire Jujutsu Kaisen universe without a shred of mercy. Given how he has been able to dominate all competition so far in the manga despite being in a weakened state, it would be safe to assume that he would make light work of everyone with the combined power of Gojo and his own techniques.

After the Jujutsu society is annihilated by Sukuna, there would be nothing and no one to stand up to the King of Curses. Even if Gojo regains control of his body, there would be nothing he would be able to do about the state of the world, given that he helped destroy it.

If he hadn't already completely turned his back on the Jujutsu society before, he would now either be too broken to maintain control of his body, or he might ally himself with the King of Curses. The latter would be to continue living according to their selfish desires.

This scenario would likely be a repeat of the chaotic Heian Era, only without anyone left to stand up to the King of Curses. The latter would continue wreaking havoc on the world and decimate anyone who stands in his way. As such, the entire world of Jujutsu Kaisen would come to an end much earlier.
