Jujutsu Kaisen has only one chapter left before the manga concludes and one big question people have is if Satoru Gojo is going to return or not, especially considering that the likes of Hiromi Higuruma, Yuta Okkotsu, and Nobara Kugisaki were confirmed alive recently. Now there is a theory on Reddit that suggests that the powerful sorcerer is still alive and is going to be the final twist of the series but not just by showing him alive.
This theory implies what was already explained in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 270 that there is a final player in the Culling Games. Most fans have already theorized that Gojo is going to be said final player, thus ending the story with his comeback, but now there is the possibility that he is a different Satoru and that is connected with Kenjaku's trip to the United States.

New Jujutsu Kaisen theory suggests that a different Satoru Gojo could return in the final chapter
The theory on Reddit starts by saying that no one among the remaining sorcerers has confirmed Satoru Gojo's death, which is something that author Gege Akutami might be doing by design. There is only the case of Kinji Hakari saying in chapter 270 that Gojo falling allowed him to separate Uraume from Ryomen Sukuna, but even in that panel there is no indication that the powerful sorcerer died against the King of Curses.
Furthermore, the key part of the theory is that it suggests that the government of the United States after they met with Kenjaku, found Gojo's body and manipulated it to create a killing machine with Jujutsu sorcery at their disposal. It is worth reminding people that Kenjaku reunited with the American government at the White House in September and the Culling Games took place in November, so they had a degree of time to prepare.
Now that Megumi Fushiguro has confirmed there is a final Culling Games player to deal with, it would be fitting of Gege Akutami's writing style that it was an undead version of Gojo, which would connect with the theme of him being a weapon. However, the biggest question would be if this material is for a potential sequel or the final battle between Gojo and his students, thus ending the Jujutsu Kaisen cycle.
The aftermath of Gojo's death
There is no denying that Satoru Gojo's death at the hands of Ryomen Sukuna has been one of the most shocking Jujutsu Kaisen moments and the fandom is still yet to recover. It is very telling that the fandom is still coming up with theories for the character's return, which goes to show how popular and beloved he is, although this doesn't guarantee a comeback.
Moreover, it is fair to say that his death was also pivotal for the remaining sorcerers to have their moments to shine and not rely on his strength. A good example of this is how the protagonist, Yuji Itadori, managed to grow as a sorcerer in the Shinjuku Showdown arc because he couldn't rely on Gojo anymore.
Final thoughts
Indeed, Jujutsu Kaisen has yet to fully address Satoru Gojo's death, which means that it's very likely that the final chapter is going to give that plot point a lot of focus. However, it is uncertain how the powerful sorcerer would be presented in the story.
