Gojo predicted Yuji's horrors in Jujutsu Kaisen way before the series turned dark

As fans must remember, the Jujutsu Kaisen manga began with Yuji Itadori eating one of Ryomen Sukuna's fingers. While he did this to protect everyone from the Curses that attacked his school, this action also saw him receive the death sentence. Fortunately, Satoru Gojo could postpone it till Yuji consumed all of Sukuna's fingers.

Gojo did not decide this by himself but asked Yuji, who had two choices, what he wanted to do. While he was going to die in both choices, the second choice allowed him to postpone it till he consumed Sukuna's remaining fingers.

Just as Yuji Itadori agreed to consume the other Sukuna fingers, Satoru Gojo made a perfect prediction about Yuji's future. Surprisingly, it turned out too accurate.

Satoru Gojo's prediction about Yuji Itadori's future in Jujutsu Kaisen turned out true

While it took place some while ago in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 2, Satoru Gojo predicted Yuji Itadori's future. With Yuji having chosen to investigate and locate the rest of Ryomen Sukuna's fingers, Gojo warned him about the life he would end up having if he followed this path.

According to Gojo, if Yuji were to start investigating the remains of Ryomen Sukuna, he would probably witness some gruesome scenes. With that, Gojo also warned him that he couldn't guarantee Yuji himself would not become a victim one day. The Six Eyes user wasn't exaggerating, as his prediction came true.

Since Yuji Itadori began his journey as a Jujutsu Sorcerer, he witnessed several deaths at the hands of different Curses, especially Mahito and Sukuna. The deaths immediately began at the start of the series, as Yuji witnessed Mahito killing his friend Junpei Yoshino in front of him.

Later in the series, i.e., during the Shibuya Incident Arc, he witnessed the damage Ryomen Sukuna unleashed onto the city through his own hands. Yuji was forced to see this and could do nothing about it. On the same night, he witnessed one of his mentors, Nanami Kento, die and his friend, Kugisaki Nobara, be fatally injured at the hands of Mahito.

If that wasn't enough, later in the series, i.e., during the Culling Game Arc, Sukuna possessed his best friend Megumi Fushiguro and later used the same body to kill his teacher Satoru Gojo during the Shinjuku Showdown. On the same day, Yuji witnessed his brother Choso sacrifice himself to protect Yuji.

Yuji Itadori has been through a lot since he agreed to investigate Ryomen Sukuna's remains. The good thing is that the ones who tormented him have finally perished. With that, he should be able to experience a good life ahead.
