The Jujutsu Kaisen fandom has entered a frenzy ever since the release of chapter 260. Although the chapter itself only focused on the tag team match between Todo, Yuji, and Sukuna, the chapter also teased the return of Gojo in the very last panel. This tease has since managed to spark new theories around the conditions of Gojo's comeback.
Gojo's death was one of the incidents that pushed Megumi deeper into despair, so the former's return might actually be used as a plot point to bring him back. The manga currently has 260 chapters released, which are available for reading on Shueisha's MANGAPlus platform.

Jujutsu Kaisen: Gojo's return will rekindle the hopes for Megumi's survival
Gojo's comeback hasn't yet been fully confirmed; it will only be confirmed in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 261, unless chapter 261 decides to shift its focus to a different point of view.
Chapter 260 ended with Sukuna trying to open another domain but being halted due to the silhouette of seemingly Gojo standing amongst the surrounding rubble. Although the chapter itself and the editor's comments heavily implied that the silhouette belonged to Gojo, it still hasn't been confirmed whether the silhouette is actually real or just Sukuna's hallucination.
Many characters, including Shoko, Ui Ui, and Yuta, must have been huge contributors to Gojo's comeback, but his comeback itself will usher in new developments in the story.
Megumi's grim state and the possibility of his comeback have been a question in the fandom ever since Sukuna took possession of his body. Although Yuji himself tried to reach Megumi via his soul-oriented powers, Megumi had already given up on surviving.
It isn't explicitly stated, but it is most probably due to the deaths of his sister, Tsumiki Fushiguro, and his teacher and father figure, Satoru Gojo. Both of these deaths happened due to Sukuna, who was possessing Megumi's body. Megumi most likely blames himself for their deaths. All these combined must've been the reason behind Megumi's current state.
Gojo's return and his being actually alive will not only make the chances of defeating Sukuna much higher, but it will also give Megumi the much-needed motivation he needs to start fighting back from the inside.
Although the fandom had lost any hope of Megumi returning due to him simply refusing Yuji's help, Gojo's return, as teased in chapter 260, might be the last trigger needed for Megumi's much-awaited comeback.
Nobara's death occurred in chapter 125 of the manga, and since then she has only appeared in brief flashbacks. Although the Sukuna fight saw almost every character ever introduced in Jujutsu Kaisen make an appearance to fight Sukuna, Nobara still hasn't appeared.
Nobara, being one of the original main cast, has continued to give hope to her fanbase, but if Gojo's comeback is fully confirmed, then the chances of Nobara making a comeback will only become slimmer. It is still possible that Nobara comes back towards the very end of the series.
Final Thoughts
Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 261, set to release on May 26, 2024, will confirm Gojo's status and finalize the ambiguity surrounding his survival. The binding vows have been overused throughout the Sukuna fight, so it's very possible that Gojo's comeback is tied to these binding vows.
