The Jujutsu Kaisen series has introduced many different characters throughout its runtime, who have gone on to become some of the most iconic characters in recent years. While the story revolves around Yuji, Satoru Gojo undeniably boasts one of the largest fanbases currently present within anime and manga.
Satoru Gojo's last appearance in the series was in manga chapter 271, where he appeared in a flashback. His actual last appearance was in chapter 235. Recently, at Jump Festa 2025's Jujutsu Kaisen stage, Yuichi Nakamura and Junya Enoki performed a live voice-over featuring some of Yuji's and Gojo's most impactful lines.
Given that Gojo's absence has been the series' most discussed topic since chapter 235, Yuichi Nakamura voicing Gojo's lines during the event did manage to soothe fans' longing for Gojo's return in any form of media.

Jujutsu Kaisen: Yuichi Nakamura voices one of Gojo's most iconic moments
Jump Festa 2025, held on December 21, 2024, featured a Jujutsu Kaisen stage as its first event. While fans eagerly awaited a release date for the Culling Games arc, which is set to be adapted in season 3 of the anime, a compilation film and an additional epilogue were announced.
The stage was hosted by Junya Enoki (Yuji Itadori), Asami Seto (Kugisaki Nobara), and Yuichi Nakamura (Gojo Satoru). Although Megumi's voice actor was supposed to attend the event, he could not make it for undisclosed reasons.
The event mainly announced various media projects, along with a live voice-over of a few panels from the Culling Games arc and the Gojo vs. Sukuna fight. Gojo's chosen scenes were from the earlier parts of the Gojo vs. Sukuna fight, where he started pummeling Sukuna after claiming that his students were watching. He added that he needed to act cool.
While Gojo's lines may not seem that impactful at first glance, one of his earliest displays of power against Sukuna was accompanied by similar dialogue. Gojo's journey has been that of a mentor desperately trying to nurture a future generation that can change the jujutsu society without his need. Given his fixation on his students, who are his literal legacy, this makes his dialogue from the Gojo vs. Sukuna fight one of his most impactful lines ever.
Final thoughts
Jujutsu Kaisen manga ended with a total of 271 chapters, without confirmation of part 2 or a spin-off. Jujutsu Kaisen season 3 anime is currently expected to be released in late 2025. In the meantime, a compilation movie of the Hidden Inventory arc will be released, along with a special 16-page epilogue. The epilogue will focus on Nobara, Ozawa, Panda, and Uraume in the final volume of the series.
