Grisaia: Phantom Trigger episode 1, titled Mother's Cradle #1, saw Principal Ichiru Sengoku's relative Taiga Sengoku enroll in Mihama Academy to become a SORD agent. Soon after her arrival, Haruto Aoi assigned Christina as her superior, following which Taiga began her training. While Taiga was reasonably good in some aspects, she was bad at shooting. This is because she lacked the physical strength and stamina required to handle a gun's recoil.

Hence, Taiga Sengoku began her physical training under Christina and remained consistent without fail. During this time, Christina became close to Taiga as she comforted her after she had a nightmare and carried her when she got hurt training. The anime later revealed that Taiga went to Kitaoka Medical University to qualify as a paramedic. Unfortunately, an explosion went off at the campus during Taiga's visit.
