After the Omnipotence Act, Eida was sidelined, and Boruto Two Blue Vortex commenced, featuring the protagonist trying to get back into his village and do something about his current situation. However, Eida hasn't made many appearances in Boruto Two Blue Vortex besides some minor appearances. So, is Eida sidelined in Boruto Two Blue Vortex?
For the time being, the answer to that could be yes, as a bigger calamity than her, the self-aware God Trees of the Ten-tails, are loose. Moreover, the Shinju are also the strongest antagonists the protagonist has faced in the past because they bear the consciousness of one of the most horror creatures in Hidden Leaf Village's history, so Eida's role right now is just to wait and watch.

Exploring Eida's current role in Boruto Two Blue Vortex
Eida is a former member of Kara, the evil organization led by Jigen (Isshiki Otsutsuki), who was disposed on the leader's orders because Jigen had considered her a danger to his own existence. After Jigen (Isshiki) died at the hands of Naruto's Baryon mode, she was freed by Code to destroy the Hidden Leaf Village.
Eida had her eyes on Boruto and Kawaki, more on the latter, as she was a teenage girl at the end of the day, craving a romantic life. She infiltrated the Hidden Leaf Village and soon became a part of it with both Boruto and Kawaki in her grips. However, the two never got along, and Kawaki reached a breaking point, where he made up his mind to eliminate Boruto.
He first visited home and sealed away Hinata and Naruto because they didn't agree with his plan. He then went after Boruto without worrying about the world. However, Kawaki reached a point where he couldn't do anything and stumbled upon Eida, who, looking at Kawaki's pathetic state, embraced him, and her powers activated.
These powers exchanged the identities between Boruto and Kawaki, making Kawaki Naruto's son, through a shinjutsu technique called Omnipotence. Kawaki, witnessing such a golden chance, placed all his cards and branded Boruto as the traitor of the Hidden Leaf Village. He was then chased out of the village by the entire village's shinobi.
It was followed by a four-year time skip during which things remained more-or-less the same as before as Eida now had Kawaki to herself. However, his rebellious personality was still in effect. Interestingly, despite being the epicenter of one of the biggest tragedies of the Hidden Leaf Village (the Omnipotence Act), she enjoyed a quiet life after branding Boruto as the traitor.
Moreover, she hasn't been involved in any fight or conflict in Boruto Two Blue Vortex, as of this article's publication, meaning that she could be playing the role of a sidelined villain, planning her future moves.
After the Shinju awakened and discussed their plan, Eida saw Bug's Shinju declare that his target would be Eida. This should be enough to foreshadow Eida's role in the future as someone who could use her shinjutsu powers again but this time to protect her life.
